This was our second stay at Rachel's Dowry, which has some robust history to go along with it's nicely remodeled staircase and lobby. We've done alot of B&B's and know the range of furniture, beds, and service. Tish and Norman, the owners, went out of their way to make sure we were well informed and even with a late arrival... We stayed here for a birthday celebration weekend that was called by a Billy Joel concert at MT&T Stadium. So much better than a hotel!!! The host, Norman, is gracious and welcoming, and the room we stayed in was perfect. Cool, even in the heat of summer, and with all the amenities you'd need. The house itself is charming, with... Wonderful gem. Was there last year and booked again this time. Invited family to also come and stay. We enjoyed a quiet stay in this charming house and felt well cared for by Norman. Hope to return for another visit next year.

Great location, super knowledgable host, very clean rooms and bathrooms. Easy parking. Safe. Norman helped us figure out the city and served yummy breakfasts. I'd stay here again if I'm ever back in Baltimore.

We spent three nights at this location and could not have been more pleased. The rooms were clean. The hostess was very pleasant. The location was very close to the convention center/Hilton/ball parks. We would recommend this B&B and would stay there again.

My son and I spent a few days at Rachael's. It's a very pretty property , filled with beautiful period furniture. Tish is a lovely host and takes good care of guests. The location is a also excellent, being a short walk from key attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again.

My husband and I drove up from Richmond for a one-night stay at Rachael's Dowry so that we could take in an Orioles game. The historic (1798) inn is located in a beautiful neighborhood so close to Camden Yards that we could see the stadium from our third-floor window. We checked in early, got directions from Norman to Edgar Allan... More

Nothing is better than guests who are interested in the area. Even with the museums closed on Mondays, you were able to explore and enjoy yourselves. Thank you, More

My husband and I scheduled a stay at Rachel's Dowry Bed and Breakfast for two nights before heading off to Punta Cana for our honeymoon. All I can say is that the minute I walked into Rachel's Dowrey I was questioning our plans for a beach honeymoon and thinking we should extend our stay. Every aspect is meticulously planned for... My husband and I were going to a concert at Pier Vl and decided to combine that with an overnight stay at a B&B. Rachel's Dowry turned out to be a wonderful surprise in the middle of a busy city. Our bedroom was beautifull, the bedding was luxurious, and we had a wonderful view of the courtyard. Tish, our host,... More

First time at a Bed and Breakfast and it was terrific! We were in Baltimore for a baseball game and were a block from stadium. Also short walking distance to the Inner Harbor. Parking was a plus considering what the larger hotels were charging for a day. Our room was beautiful and clean. The pictures on the web site are... More
