Stayed only one night - would have been glad to stay longer. Loved the high ceilinged room and the staff were super attentive and helpful. The lounge was very conducive to hanging and conversation and the complimentary wine tasting early evening was terrific.

The Hotel Monaco is situated in near the nice harbour area of Baltimore and seems to be a former railway hotel. The room I had was spacious and clean and the bath room likewise was spacious and the shower was nice and powerful. A nice feature of my stay was the evening "wine hour" when free wine and some snacks... More

I had three rooms at this hotel for a wedding weekend recently. I have only good things to say about it. The facilities and location and staff were great. The rooms were comfortable. Within walking distance is Camden Yards where the Orioles play as well as the Inner Harbor. And the staff was proactive in making sure our stay was... More

We stayed one night with a reservation in a 'King spa room.' We were orignally given keys to one room, which in fact appeared to be occupied, but the staff recognized the error and quickly placed us in another comparable room. Staff throughout the property (bellhops, valet, desk staff) were consistently friendly and responsive to our requests. The hotel is... More

Kimpton has outdone itself with this restored historical property previously owned by the B&O railroad. Outstanding service. Beautiful rooms. Within blocks of Inner Harbor restaurants and shopping. Also loved the B&O Lounge. Always smiling and accommodating Staff dedicated to making your stay memorable. Only reason we didn't give a perfect score is because shower door was misaligned opening inwards. We... More

Work meetings brought me to Baltimore in September 2014. I was drawn to this hotel given that it is a Kimpton property. The Kimpton name is a brand I've come to trust for reliable service and beautiful facilities that do not disappoint. The Hotel Monaco lives up to the Kimpton name, for sure! The hotel is located in the former... More

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Monaco Baltimore. I won the hotel utilizing Hotwire.com. The price we paid was $103.00, before taxes and fees. I've never stayed at a Kimpton Hotel but I have heard and read great things about the group. The day before arrival, I called the hotel to make sure I could request a king... More

If you've ever wondered where the B&O Railroad space on your Monopoly game originated, think "Hotel Monaco, Baltimore." This sumptuous hotel is not only historical as the former Baltimore-to-Ohio train station, it is luscious to the eye! Marble floors and walls, bold wallpaper prints reminiscent of the 1920s, carpeted inserts every 15 feet or so, and a self tour of... More

We were just there for the night on the way up to PA from Southern MD. This was our first trip with our 1 year old miniature schnauzer and we weren't sure how things would go. When we got to the room we found a doggie bed, food and water dishes already in the room. Bentley received a package of... More

This hotel is in the former headquarters of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The entrance level and lobby floor are really quite wonderful. Coffered ceilings soar, magnificent dual marble staircase rising for two lofty floors. Gorgeous chandelier, elevator cages on lower level are partly glass with iron work. Some glass ceilings. Even if you don't stay there it's worth stepping... More
