This hotel is a nice place to stay in Baltimore. It is about six walkable blocks from the Inner Harbor and the subway is one block away and city buses are everywhere. It is close to the Camden Station of Marc Train. It is an old building with interesting architecture. The rooms are up-to-date and a cross between Gaugin and... More

I stayed here for a conference that I was attending. It was downtown and not far away. Check-in took a little while and the front desk clerk name started with an M was not dress professional at all and was not very helpful. She seemed very frustrated and upset. I tried to make things easy. We got the first room... More

I will never stay at a Quality Inn, or any Choice Hotel again. The Night Manager working at this hotel, Darell Lucus, made me feel unsafe, unwelcome, and was the most unprofessional person ive ever had the displeasure to work with. Upon arriving we were informed that there were zero luggage carts for all of our things, because they didn't... More

Having read the other reviews, we decided to take a chance since the location was near the inner harbor and Johns Hopkins hospital. It was what we expected. The room was fine, but not as clean as most. Everything worked. New decor was nice. Breakfast was good - what we expected. We slept well and enjoyed a good breakfast at... More

"Ok but not great" applies to the location, room quality and overall experience. Not as close to Inner Harbor (but within walking distance) but seemed a lot further at night, as there were always people hanging around on the corner and in front of the hotel at all hours. We had a queen bed and roll-away, and could barely move... More

Frank guest reviews such as yours, are appreciated, as they give us the chance to improve. Your statement that the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was well-stocked and fresh, and that the hotel is a good value is very kind. More

They spent a lot on improving the rooms, but without great customer service and training by staff, stay becomes less than fair. Within a few minutes of checking in, I knew that we would have some trouble. Front Desk was fairly nice, but she was wearing a lower cut T-Shirt. I was hoping that this was not the uniform for... Not too bad. A lot cheaper than a lot of hotels in the area and that is really all it has going for it. Best for those who need to been downtown. Clean, but a bit worn down and not much attention to details. For example, we didn't have soap one day and one bed was missing a blanket. Breakfast... More

If I could give them no stars I would. We stayed here on June 23rd with two other couples. The last time we stayed here was two years ago and we liked the place. The location was good they had just put a nice bar in and the rooms were nice. What a difference two years makes. The bar was... More

We stayed here for one night. The hotel does not have a place to unload while checking in, so we had to park in a nearby garage first. The lobby and main areas seemed a bit run down. Our room was tiny and dark, with a view of the airshaft and empty beercans on the lower roof. We didn't notice... More

yes the hotel is in an older building, but is very convenient to inner harbor and all downtown attractions. the room was small, but very clean, with a very comfortable pillowtop mattress. the room had a great power shower and modern bath. the room was definitely a bargain and everyone was very nice. for the price you cannot beat it.
