As opposed to Philadelphia in December, Baltimore in July was a disappointment. Not much enthusiasm from the front desk staff. Don't even think of checking in before 4PM, it's not an option. Nobody at front desk before 7AM if you are planning an early departure. You can leave your bags in locked storage if you plan to leave town after... More

Given the price range, I do not think I have ever stayed in a more organized hostel before. It was in a historic building at a very central location. Staff was very helpful. Cleanliness is definitely a few levels higher than typical hostels. They have a great kitchen and breakfast is pretty good. They organize decent free events such as... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a reasonably good experience. Arrived and was told to wait, so had to sit around with my bags for quite a while, while I think they changed shifts. Ended up having to go back and ask if I could check I'm yet, but was smooth from there. Was in a 10 bed dorm,... More

I wish I could have stayed longer in the hostel. The hostel is in a beautiful old mansion, but has been completely refurbished and everything is brand new. As soon as you come in, you feel at home and cosy. All the facilities are beautiful and useful. Nice living-room with great movies, a piano, books, couches, a game room, a... More

prices are reasonable, it is kept clean. staff was friendly. conveniently located in the downtown area, so it's very close to bars and restaurants if you're into the nightlife like me. not very good for the budget traveler though.

Although old this hostel is perfectly clean and the staff are lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our FREE pancakes with melted chocolate and blueberries every morning. Don't miss the street art tour run by the hostel of Baltimore's open walls project and get the light rail out to Hampden for arty quirky shops, good coffee, cupcakes and antique&vintage shops. Also a... More

I stayed only one night in the city and the location for the hostel is very good. Lots of things to see in the area. Some of the streets around the area might be a bit dodgy at night time though. I stayed in one of the dorms and I can't really say it's something special. They had lockers, free... More

Staff were lovely; very friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms were old, extremely hot (aircon was poor), with bad beds which were very uncomfortable because of the plastic matress and pillow protectors. As previously mentioned, there were not enough bathrooms/showers for the number of people. The common area was the exception to this as it was large, spacious and full... More

Beautiful, clean hostel in a great location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and I loved the vibe of the place! Wish I could have stayed more than two nights, would highly recommend it to everyone!

we stayed here in baltimore for 2 nights only. everywhere is expensive and we found the only hostel in town. the hostel is a very large house, check in is at 2pm but they can store your bags for you in the basement. we stayed in a 8 mixed dorm, the room was nice and big, the bathroom could do...
