Beautiful, clean hostel in a great location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and I loved the vibe of the place! Wish I could have stayed more than two nights, would highly recommend it to everyone!

we stayed here in baltimore for 2 nights only. everywhere is expensive and we found the only hostel in town. the hostel is a very large house, check in is at 2pm but they can store your bags for you in the basement. we stayed in a 8 mixed dorm, the room was nice and big, the bathroom could do... When I entered Hostel International in Baltimore, I thought I was in New York in a down-to-Earth laid-back Brooklyn pad. I've stayed at other New York hostels but none have come close to how great it feels to walk up to the front door at 17 W. Mulberry St in Baltimore, MD. I actually smile when I'm walking up to... But I guess thats not a bad thing. Even though they own the hostelling market the price is fair. The staff are ok, one young dude with a beard was nice to talk to... the rest were helpful enough. Location is great, 15mins walk from harbour, 20 to sports stadiums. Wifi is pretty good. The bedrooms are spacious but the... More

I've stayed in numerous hostels and this one is great- comfortable, clean living space with high ceilings and nice old style finishing, well appointed kitchen and the dorms clean and bright. Laundry facilities on site was a plus. Nice staff and a good neighbourhood- walking distance to Inner Harbour and stadiums with free buses all round plus bars/restaurants galore. I... More

The accommodation was very clean and the people were quite helpful and friendly. I don't usually stay at hostels but this was very encouraging for me for future hostels. I was surprised that the hostel was so organized and felt like a home.

I just completed a 5-night stay at the Baltimore Hostel located conveniently on Mulberry Street, less than a mile from the "Inner Harbor" area. I was able to easily walk from the hostel to the conference center where I needed to be each day. I was in the female dorm room which also had showers and bathroom in the room.... More

Just finished my first of two nights at HI-Baltimore. For $30/night, for just two nights, it'll do. My first hosteling experience was HI-Santa Monica, which was amazing in so many ways...so I'm totally spoiled. The building is old and beautiful, but the en-suite bathroom was cramped. The guests were nice for the most part. Really like the common room. Kitchen... More

the hostel would be quite cool, but sadly I was one of about 5 guests... There is a nice common area with books and a computer. The staff was really funny and friendly. I also took advantage of the hostel hopper minivan with a friendly driver.

I stayed at Hi-Baltimore for a while, and I have to say it is fantastic. The staff is amazing! This was my first time staying at a hostel and I wasn't sure what to expect, especially having to share a room with so many people. During my stay I was in both the female dorm (12 beds) and the co-ed... More
