I spent 4 nights at the Baltimore youth hostel, and have no complaints.....well.....I got 2 spider bites, and saw a large spider in my room, but that's not likely anything they could prevent and there didn't seem to be an infestations, since I only SAW one (and no webs).

The hostel is in a lovely historic building directly across the street from the country's oldes Cathedral, and a huge library. It's on a bus line, and a few blocks (maybe half a mile) away from a lite rail/subway. It's also just under half a mile away from some hoppin' nightclubs (One, Bourbon Street, Sonar) and there's a nice Irish Pub in stumbeling distance (Mick O'Sheas). The location was actually walking distance to pretty much everything a tourist would want to see (Aquarium, Marina, Science Center, monuments, etc.).

The hostel itself offered daily pancakes (w/chocolate chips even!) you could make yourself, a wonderful kitchen, free internet, a nice little patio, a large living room with free... more
