I love it!!!! The warming owners, Roger and Cecilia, the staff plus Leopold- their Bengal cat are amazing! Everything is wonderful about this inn, from the breakfast Roger makes daily, to the conversations, cozy room, comfortable bed/bed sheets and antique tub. I can't say more! You have to experience it for yourself. I promise you will NOT regret it! This... More

If you need a place to stay in Baltimore and are looking for historic charm, pristine surroundings and a SUPERB breakfast then the very quaint and authentic Blue Door on Baltimore is a must! It is a lovely restored row home located in the historic Butchers Hill location. I have been to many B & B’s and I attest to... More

The Blue Door is a wonderful B&B in a splendid old house. Roger is a first-rate innkeeper, friendly, cheerful, well-informed and an excellent cook. Besides delicious breakfasts, he comes to your door every evening with a a special homemade treat. The house was built in 1900 and has been beautifully restored. The rooms are huge. Ours had a balcony and... More

Our room was a place of calm in the midst of a busy city. Our innkeeper gave us excellent advice about places to eat (Life of Reilly-best crabcakes ever!) and things to see. Because we were arriving late, he even parked his own car in a place at the front door saving us a parking space! He accomodated our gluten... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Blue Door the first weekend in September. It is in a very cool neighborhood called Buthers Hill. It is a nice walk to the waterfront in Fells Point. The rooms were amazing and no detail was not thought of. The bed was very comfortable, the bed linens were very nice and... More

AMAZING. Husband and I are not the typical B&B crowd (25 &27) but ANYONE wanting excellent accomodation in Baltimore should stay here. Roger was fantastic, the weekend breakfast was unique and delicious, the room was comfortable, the beds were like a cloud. I would not hesitate to stay here again and to recommend this B&B to everyone!

One of our best B&B experiences in our 18 years of staying at B&B's. Roger is a natural born host in addition to being a great cook. The room and bath were perfect in every way. Loved all the storage room available in the room. That's important when you are staying for 5 nights. Wife loved the large clawfoot soaking... More

Whenever you go to Baltimore, this is the place to stay. From the moment you step into the Blue Door, it feels as if you are visiting the house of a good friend. Such a delightful change from staying in all these anonymous hotels. We stayed for three nights in the Patterson room. Huge, tastefully decorated, quiet, spotlessly clean and... More

Great place for a couples weekend walkable to almost all of the attractions including federal hill and fells point. Rooms are awesome, breakfast is great, price is reasonable. Roger is the best and will help you with anything. He also has the greatest laugh!
