One of our best B&B experiences in our 18 years of staying at B&B's. Roger is a natural born host in addition to being a great cook. The room and bath were perfect in every way. Loved all the storage room available in the room. That's important when you are staying for 5 nights. Wife loved the large clawfoot soaking... More

Whenever you go to Baltimore, this is the place to stay. From the moment you step into the Blue Door, it feels as if you are visiting the house of a good friend. Such a delightful change from staying in all these anonymous hotels. We stayed for three nights in the Patterson room. Huge, tastefully decorated, quiet, spotlessly clean and... More

Great place for a couples weekend walkable to almost all of the attractions including federal hill and fells point. Rooms are awesome, breakfast is great, price is reasonable. Roger is the best and will help you with anything. He also has the greatest laugh!

I was to attend a conference in Baltimore MD and I made my travel plans later than usual. Because of this, the conference hotel was totally booked. Not knowing where to stay and not at all familiar with Baltimore, I went online and just perused a lot of hotels available in the Baltimore area. As luck would have it, it... More

What a lovely property. So tranquil and calming inside, you would never know you're smack in the heart of Baltimore. We stayed in the Washburn room which faces the main street and never heard a peep from outside. The property is just beautiful. Our room and bathroom were gorgeous. The sheets on the bed were so unique and such a... More

This is a beautiful BandB situated in a historic row house in a neighborhood within walking distance to Fell's Point and the Inner Harbor. Patterson Park is a short walk in the opposite direction, and provides opportunities for walkers and runners to stroll the park. Roger and Cecilia are charming and very friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and the little... More

We recently stayed at The Blue Door in Baltimore and our experience was exceptional. Located in a traditional row house near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the facility is immaculate and filled with charm; offering the best of the “old & new”. Numerous electrical connections, great lighting, working Wi-Fi, I-Phone docks, etc. coupled with claw foot bathtubs, hardwood floors and numerous amenities.... More

This was our second stay at Blue Door. We were so excited when we had need to return to Baltimore because we knew we'd have the opportunity for another delightful visit at Blue Door. We even got to stay in the same room as before. The weather was perfect for us to utilize the balcony outside our room. Roger and... More

I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend in the Hampstead Room. The space is gorgeous and located near the inner harbor. The place is beautiful with wonderful decor in the rooms and the common areas. The bathroom had a full lay down washtub as well as a stone tiled shower and his and her sinks. The room itself... More

As always, I have been very pleased by this bed and breakfast owned by Roger and Cecilia. When they are away, they have an incredibly competent and gracious host named Bill who goes out of his way to assist us. All three rooms are spacious, with two of them having a balcony and a view of a charming alley in... More
