Great campground. People are friendly, spacious camp sites, store on site, church service, activities at certain times. Security, one way in and out and people at the gate. Only negative is one dump station, during busy times there is a wait to dump.

First visit here and love the place. Beautiful campground and very friendly staff. There is a little store on the property with generous hours. Can fill up fast depending on what's going on that weekend. Clean restrooms. I'll be back next September.

This was our second visit to Piney Campground, both times we stayed in the non-electric Virginia Loop with sites right by the water. This time we were prepared with kayaks, fishing poles, etc. This campground is well organized and the bathrooms are clean and nice, especially for a campground! During the busy holiday weekend, they had some events organized at... More

We enjoyed our time at Piney in the Virginia Loop with the other tent campers. I appreciate not being next to an RV running a generator or watching TV loudly, so Virginia Loop is great for that. That said, a lot of your experience has to do with your neighbors! We had great neighbors the first few days and on... More

Beautiful, clean campground with very friendly hosts. We stayed in the Black Oak Loop which was very quiet (Midweek), large sites, and a great view of Kentucky Lake. Beach area was not being used, but I definitely would have taken advantage of it had the weather been a little warmer. We had a good phone signal, but I'm sure that... More

Children enjoyed activities, swimming and fishing. Cabin was just right. Everyone family oriented and friendly. Children were entertained and great for teens. Will be back..Husband enjoyed it also. Loved our location. Close to pond and bathrooms. .

clean and friendly. a lot of spots that accommodate everything from the small tent to the large campers. some on the water and some not. mosquitoes were not an issue for us during the Memorial Day Weekend. I do believe cars travel tooooo fast on the roads in the campground which doesn't allow for the younger children to ride bicycles... More

We stayed at a primitive site right on the lake in the Virginia Loop at Land Between the Lakes Park. Great area for families...lots to do (hiking and bike trails) and clean, well maintained facilities.

We have a 36 ft. class A motorhome and camped August 10-15, 2014. Our site was on the water which was nice but the view would have been better if some trees had lower branches trimmed and grass mowed closer to the bank. Clean campsite with full hook-ups and great 50 amp service. Did not need the shower or bathroom... More

Spent last weekend at this lovely campground! We had a prime spot on the water...and close to a NEW bathroom/shower house. The grounds were large and clean. The beach was nice. The camp store had odds and ends incase you forgot something...like bug spray! My only complaints were: 1. we had to pitch our tent on the gravel. 2. We... More
