We stayed at a primitive site right on the lake in the Virginia Loop at Land Between the Lakes Park. Great area for families...lots to do (hiking and bike trails) and clean, well maintained facilities.

We have a 36 ft. class A motorhome and camped August 10-15, 2014. Our site was on the water which was nice but the view would have been better if some trees had lower branches trimmed and grass mowed closer to the bank. Clean campsite with full hook-ups and great 50 amp service. Did not need the shower or bathroom... More

Spent last weekend at this lovely campground! We had a prime spot on the water...and close to a NEW bathroom/shower house. The grounds were large and clean. The beach was nice. The camp store had odds and ends incase you forgot something...like bug spray! My only complaints were: 1. we had to pitch our tent on the gravel. 2. We... More

My husband & I stayed here for the LBL200 this year. Great campground, & would recommend to anyone planning on visiting this area. Sites are well shaded. I can't speak to the facilities, as we were in a travel trailer with full hook-ups, but we didn't here any of the other riders for the event tent camping there say anything... More

My wife and I went to Piney campground for a couple days to unwind before it gets cold and the holiday rush begins. The campground is pet friendly so we were able to take our dog. We camped in the primitive area site 294 that backs up to the water. At the time of our stay we were the only... More

Camped here on Memorial Day weekend for 5 days. I love it because it's big, has GREAT bike trails for families, occasional entertainment (bands), a little store that holds several necessities for sale, a sandy beach, washers & dryers & bathhouses. If you want a super sleepy quiet campground, there are loops of this campground that are quiet...however, if you... More

We stayed here for the first time during the 4th of July holiday. We were there for 4 nights. We enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect and unseasonably cool which was an added bonus. The bathhouses are clean and very large. They are not heated or cooled so be prepared for muggy if humid outside. The campground staff is... More

We stopped here on trip home to D.C. From Memphis. What a great find. We wish we could have stayed longer. Staff was super friendly and helpful, lots are huge ( on dogwood circle) just right for big rigs and slide outs. Several lakefront spots but most of sites are first come first served, however lake can be seen from... More

It's so beautiful here! We go every chance we get. We stay in cabin 333 every time. It has a little more privacy than most, not so close to the next cabin. The water spicket is right out front ( which means others have to come use it, but we've never minded.) Peaceful, relaxing time we had! The people who... More

We recently had our first camping trip at Piney. I had camped here as a little girl and am now bringing my children here. We loved the campsites, youth activity involvement, outpost store,...We will definitely be back!
