When my husband stopped to try to get information he was rudely told to check the internet and the door shut abruptly in his face. The facility looked okay but service ......I wouldn't count on it. Though we had considered staying, we would not even consider it at this point.

We paid for a week, but ended up staying just 3 or 4 nights. The two showers on site were not clean, we were fed up with the dirt sites, barking neighborhood dogs, dust from the cars driving by, and the lack of ambiance. I never did have a poor experience with the owner being rude like others did, but... More

I strongly recommend against staying at this park with an RV. The manager is incredibly hostile, insulting, negative, argumentative and critical. He berated my wife and I for no good reason. We said little. The park is run-down, dusty, dirty and not well-kept. Spaces had no water when we were there. All that would be okay in a remote desert... More

From the time we pulled in the man was trying to fight my husband I felt so uncomfortable I knew I could not sleep without one eye open. I guess that is why the only other RVs were abandon ones. Website pictures are very misleading. Needless to say we left to a different location.

Stayed here for a week during the Texas Star Party with two eight-year old girls. They absolutely loved cabin 3 that had three sets of bunk beds, a futon and a couch. The cable TV, full-sized refrigerator and outside play area made their day. I stayed here two years ago and am very happy that I went back while attending... More

Our small family stayed in a tent. It was a drag that the tents are so close to the road, but truthfully, it wound up not bother us much at all. The other families in the tent area were quiet. The drag was the cold weather, which he couldn't help, and apologized for. He seemed genuinely concerned that we had... More

I was freaked out by all the negative remarks about the owner, because I stayed here as part of a school field trip, and I thought we'd run into problems with our small group of very excited elementary students. Far from it. The owner was extremely nice to all of us and even joined us for a bbq. He has... More

We just stayed in a cabin for an overnight. When we first walked in, the owner was a little preoccupied and not so forthcoming with what we should do to check in. He then opened our cabin for u, walked in, and turned on some of the appliances and replaced a light bulb. That was nice, but a little wierd.... More

Prior to my 11JUN departure for my Trans-Texas Bicycle Odyssey (11JUN-08JUL2011), I had used google earth to tentatively plan out my route. When I saw this campsite, I knew where I was spending one night, probably my 3rd or 4th night of pedaling. However, I almost ran out of fresh, clean drinking water my 3rd night, 5 miles South of... We were going to camp in the Davis Moutains State Park, but it was much too hot for that, so we called and got a cabin here. It doesn't look so good on the outside, but on the inside it is quite quaint. There are tempurpedic beds, tv, microwaves, and mini-fridges in the rooms. The guy who runs it was... More
