We stayed in the Sleeping Lion Suite for our Anniversary. The room was clean, well appointed, and the bed very comfortable. Nothing cramped here. Flat screen TV and ceiling fan as well as Free Wi-Fi. This room enters through french doors off the back porch, rather than into the main part of the house. The attached bathroom was enormous -... More

We stayed here while visiting Guadalope Mountans & McDonald Observatory. Not only was the place convenient, but I would love to stay in this type off lodging everywhere I go. We chose what was called a King Suite. It was a King Apartment that was bigger than our apartment. We had a real kitchen (all dishes & cookware supplied), a... More

We stayed in this "Bed and Breakfast" for 3 nights during late May. The room was not plush, but it was in great shape, clean, and comfortable. The house was very attractive with a nice kitchen, living room, and dining room. We were left a snack or dessert to eat when we arrived in the afternoons. Breakfasts were varied and... More

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay at the Davis Mountains Inn, a beautiful home and all creature comforts. Located just outside of town it was an easy two min drive away. We stayed in the guide peak room downstairs, comfy bed and linens, bathroom next door but not shared.

Not having the owners on site is a disservice to quest. Many of us like to interact with the owners. A source of information for one thing. No ammenites like soda's or sweets. They had 2 cookies out one evening and zero another time . The 3rd night was 2 pieces of Banana nut bread.

We stayed here 2 nights and it was an ideal location for exploring the Fort Davis area. The lion suite was perfect although we did not get time to use the luxury bath. The breakfasts were excellent both days and something different each morning. It feels like you are just borrowing someones house for a couple of days as you... More

We stayed in the 2 three bedroom units: Casa Gracia & star of Texas. We were a family group of 12 people. The apartments were very spacious with 3 nice bedtooms and 2 bathrooms each. they were very clean and convenient. That being said, there were problems: The key to Casa Gracia was missing (later found in a cupboard instead... More

We stayed three days at the Southgate lodge part of the Davis Mountain Inn. Very clean and comfortable with HUGE rooms. The living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen area are all oversized, so we spread out to fill space available. Luxury in the big soaking tub, and a great night's sleep in the soft king bed. The owner was very... More

We had reservations at the Ft. Davis Drugstore, which suffered frozen pipes due to freak ice storms (note plural: ice stormS). So we were moved over to the Inn and all I can say is thank you, Drugstore and Inn! It was luxurious, warm, relaxing and a lovely end to our icy, snowy, rainy, windy 3-day hiking adventure in Big... We stayed at the South Gate property, annex to the Lodge. This property is more ideal to large family get-togethers. Though we were the only ones to occupy one of the four places, I think it might've gotten a little loud had their been others renting. Decent space. I chose this one because of the fireplace. We had chilly weather... More
