Loved our stay here. All the rooms are little cottages that are well appointed and comfy. Wifi is awesome. Super convenient to the restaurants in town: Blue Mountain Bistro for dinner and the Fort Davis Drugstore for breakfast. The setting is bucolic and an excellent home base for explorations into the Davis Mountains and the McDonald Observatory. Would absolutely recommend... More

Clean, comfortable cottage. Cute setting, courtyard is lovely. We arrived late and Kelly called and let us know where to find keys and that we could officially "check in" the next morning. Parking was convenient. Great location to all of the "downtown" attractions in Fort Davis. No complaints!

The cottage we stayed in is one of a set in a lovely garden just off the main street. It was on the cold side when we stayed there, and because the thermostat was in an odd place up high on a wall, I could not find it during the night. Otherwise it would have been a nice stay. Fort... More

A little bit dates in decor and style, however a great location and stay if visiting the observatory. In the middle of town, so walkable to all amenities. The woman that greeted us on arrival was very welcoming and able to answer any questions we had.

The cottage was exactly what I expected after reading the description. I stayed there 4 days and 5 nights and the only problem I had was no cell phone signal which had nothing to do with the room. Thankfully there was wifi so I was able to communicate that way. Thanks Butterfield.

These cute stand alone cottages are right on the main street of Fort Davis for easy access to the grocery store, shopping and restaurants. Why stay at a standard hotel chain when you can enjoy some of the homey amenities of staying in this B&B like fireplaces and outdoor seating in a shady courtyard. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, nice... More

This was my second time staying at the Inn. I was here 4 years ago. A lovely place with exquisitely comfortable beds !! We enjoyed a fire and had our dinner in front of the fireplace . Beautiful setting in the courtyard and would have loved to sit out but we went down to Alpine for the festival and enjoyed... More

Quaint and charming. Needs updating and adequate supplies. Very convenient to the town. Parking was great and the little courtyard was a popular gathering place for the early rising coffee drinkers who forget that other hurt re sleeping. We walk through someone else's bedroom to get to the bathroom.

We had a pleasant stay 3 night stay at the inn during the hummingbird celebration. It was quiet, clean, and efficient. It was furnished with antiques which made it charming. We would stay there again. The scenery in the area was very different from what we are used to.
