This was our first B&B stay. My husband and I were joined by my 4 siblings and their spouses. The house was immaculate, the rooms charming and comfortable, and the hosts were warm and inviting. The house is exactly as described and all of the images on the website are accurate.

While we saw other B&B's in Astoria--from appearances they did not compare to this one. Pam and Dave are warm hosts and work hard at making the experience great. Rooms were very clean and attention to detail is apparent. Rose Room was very nice--. Comfortable sleeping and the breakfast was excellent. Ask the hosts about their flowers and the stories... More

The inn is located near downtown Astoria, truly within walking distance of any business you'd want visit, including several fine restaurants. The hosts greeted us as soon as we arrived, gave us the tour, and showed us to our room. We had the Inspiration Suite, and it's huge, perfect for a family of four or more. The room was clean... A great place to stay in Astoria. The hosts David and Pam have a beautiful home full of antique curiosities. They have thought of everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable. The Inspiration room is large, airy and has very comfortable beds. The gardens are amazing - despite a the efforts of the local deer population! There are... More

This B&B was recommended to me by a friend. I am on military business and my wife and I arrived early. We knew our room was not ready and that was completely alright with us. My wife simply needed somewhere to sit in the lobby until the room became ready, as I had to leave. We politely asked if she... More

On 7/9/15 this couple walked in our home at 9:30 a.m. while my guests from the night before were still eating breakfast. We had a full house that morning and I was startled to see them in my living room not lobby. He started by asking that his wife sit here until her room was ready. I tried to explain... More

We stayed in this lovely old home decorated so nicely and a particularly pretty garden, so many beautiful flowers of all colours. The breakfast was delicious, overall a very nice experience. Our room had a comfortable sunroom.

We recently enjoyed a couple of nights in Astoria and stayed at the Rose River Inn. It's a beautiful home tastefully furnished with antiques. The clean rooms had all the amenities and a very comfortable bed with a convenient sitting area for reading. We enjoyed the free WiFi also. The hosts were delightful! The breakfasts were delicious! The outside garden... More

Very enjoyable stay. The suite was cozy and overlooked historic Astoria and the Columbia River. Within walking distance of many of the tourist sites and had very comfortable accommodations. The hosts were very accommodating and the breakfast was big and very good; quiche plate, yogurt and fruit, coffee cake and a selection of beverages. I will be going back.

Historic home in the heart of downtown Astoria. Impressive garden and charming patio areas had dozens of blooming flowers and plants. Immaculately clean throughout the entire property. Our large room featured original stained glass windows, a modern fireplace, and large bed. My favorite feature was the white, high-back, claw-foot tub. Delicious home made breakfast free with reservation and included coffee,... More

I need to preface this review with two comments: 1) I am mainly commenting on the 3rd floor attic room, the Inspiration Suite, in which we stayed. We saw none of the other rooms. 2) B&Bs need to be judged differently than hotels, because some degree of “quirkiness” is to be expected. But there is a fine line between quirky... More

Thank you for a lengthy review of a one night stay. I would like to state a couple of things regarding this review. We do not advertise or in any way claim to be a "Upscale" Bed and Breakfast. The house was built in 1912 and the attic was finished off when it was originally built, which the corner sink... More
