It was the first bed and breakfast we stayed in the United States. The owner did renovate and decorate it well but the house itself was too old. The rotten wood smell always penetrate the wall paper or wooden floor to my nose. Barely no space for suitcases, steep steps to upstairs. Beautiful garden. Good breakfast mood. Not worth the... more

Clementines has a great web site describing the Inn which caught my interest. Dog friendly was one of our eye catchers as we have three dogs. "Flower garden setting" is understated. Clementines is a paradise in plants and flowers. The main house is an, over 100 years old, very well cared for Victorian. The main parlor room is filled with... more

Reading the most recent reviews on here of this place, makes me realize how bizarre my visit was. We stayed here for 1 night while traveling throughout the state. We arrived at 5:55pm to find out that check-in was between 4-6. Even though we asked 3 different times, we NEVER received any kind of confirmation letter or e-mail, so we... more

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at Clementine's. Judith is a very generous hostess and also makes delicious breakfasts! There is also wine in the evenings. I really enjoyed having conversation with the other guests. I do not stay in bed and breakfasts very often, but I'm really glad I did this time (and probably will more frequently). I... more

Loved our room (French Violet) overlooking the Columbia River on our balcony, loved Judy, our very fun innkeeper, her delicious breakfasts served beautifully and shared with other guests, and her helpful dinner suggestions. Clementine's is the perfect place to stay in Astoria. The location is great and is within walking distance to downtown and the Riverfront Walk. I would highly... more

We stayed at the Clementine's B&B over Christmas last year, and had a wonderful time. Their Moose Temple Lodge had two rooms, and my husband and I stayed in one of them. A shared living area had a wood-buringing fireplace and tv with dvd player for watching movies. We had a great time escaping to Clementine's, listening to the crackle... more

We throughly enjoyed our four night stay at Clementines, staying in the Riverview Loft which comprised of two floors with two double beds and a small balcony upstairs (plus ensuite whirlpool bath, basin and toilet) and a large downstairs with a sofabed, shower room and large kitchen with table and chairs. Not only was everything spotlessly clean, but the kitchen... more

We recently spent one night at Clementine's, in the French Violet room. The room was upstairs and had it's own balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony a great place to relax. The owner, Judith, was nice and welcoming. Perhaps a bit frazzled, but no big deal at all. They have a wine reception in the evening but... more

My husband and I stayed at Clementine's when we visited the OR coast. Astoria is a cute little town with several historical attractions. The inn itself was lovely (in particular the rooms!) and located close to restaurants and attractions--we were able to walk everywhere; the breakfast made the stay completely worthwhile. The hostess is quite helpful regarding local plans and... more

Astoria does not have many reasonably priced hotels with good tripadvisor reviews so we chose a B&B instead. Clementine's sounded wonderful, particularly based on the website. We booked the Garden room to avoid carrying our bags up too many stairs, little did we anticipate the steep stairs to reach the house from the street! See the picture. The room was... more
