We stayed at Clementine's B&B over spring break when we decided to explore the northern Oregon coast, and used Astoria as our base of operations. I was a bit apprehensive staying at a B&B because we have two young children, but we rented the Riverview loft, which is it's own self-contained unit rather than just a B&B room. The owner,... More

We enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed. Food was very good and well presented. We met some great people at the dining table. The accommodations were okay, the whirlpool bath was nice but very noisy. The beds were comfortable upstairs (we were in the loft) but the futon bed downstairs was hard (that's how futon's are). Lots of interesting furnishings,... More

My fiance and I stayed there over this past Valentine's Day weekend, the house is quaint and has a very quaint atmosphere. We stayed in the Sunrise room, although rainy all weekend, the room was cozy.

We have stayed in a lot of B & B's over the years. Clementine's is a nice B & B with friendly and helpful staff. The proprietor Judith was out of town, so her assistant Linda took care of us. She did a fine job. The house itself could use some TLC as much of the paint, carpets and wallpaper... More

We are in our 60's on our first visit to Oregon. Judith is an excellent cook and serves gourmet breakfasts. Great location in town with easy walk to two great restaurants - #1 Clemente's, #2 Silver Salmon. Short drive to the waterfront for lunch at Baked Alaska to watch the river pilots bring the big cargo ships thru the rough... More

Clementine's B&B was so perfect! We stayed in the moose lodge and shared a living room/kitchen with another couple that was really great. Perfect space and such a comfortable atmosphere in the lodge and the main house. The breakfasts were served in personalized cast iron pans, ingredients so fresh and delicious, the dutch babies to die for. Just perfect really. Judith... More

This wonderfully restored house and lodge from the 1880's is absolutely charming. It is located nearby the historic Flavel House Museum. Old downtown Astoria is within walking distance to restaurants, art galleries, shops, and the waterfront on the Columbia River. Judith Markham, the owner and innkeeper, is charming and a great cook. The views are wonderful of the ships on... More

Just about 3.5 hours south from the Seattle area, Astoria is a lovely, small town get-a-way on the mouth of the Columbia River. We couldn't have asked for better "digs". Judith, the B&B owner/proprietress was a gem; making us feel entirely welcome. The other guests, equally charmed by our common circumstances engaged in pleasant conversation in the mornings in the... My daughter and I stayed in the Clementine room. It has two beautiful beds with feather comforters and pillows. The antiques and decor were amazing and the room was very clean. Judith makes the most scrumptious breakfasts and we were treated to Dutch babies, frittatas, pumpkin bread with homemade plumb jelly, and the most delicious coffee. We took the cooking... More

I can't count the number of times I have stayed in Judith's charming inn. Romantic weekends, girls trips (with dogs!) and road trips when the kids were small. Never am I disappointed! From the warm, romantic and 'just shabby enough' room décor, to the sumptuos gourmet breakfasts, Judith creates the most relaxed, informal and welcoming experience. Do yourself a favor... More
