Judith, the innkeeper, was wonderful, setting us up with reservations at Fulio's, and pointing out opportunities around town for sight-seeing and shopping. The breakfasts...how does one describe perfection? The bed in our room was delightful, and the view decent if not inspiring. We had a ground floor because of my breathing, but the stairs so many remark on leading to... more

Judith Taylor, our Innkeeper at Clementine's Bed & Breakfast, couldn't have been more friendly, fun, prepared or helpful. She sets the tone for a relaxed and comfortable visit. Her breakfasts can't be beat and her recommendations on restaurants were right on (don't miss The Columbian Cafe where chef/owner Uriah will impress you, along with his one-of-a-kind Voodoo Lounge next door).... more

My mom and I stayed one night at Clemintine's on our way down the Oregon Coast. Although the stairs are steep getting into the Bed and Breakfast, and then there was another steep set of stairs to climb leading to our room, the room was comfortable with double beds for both of us, and thick, comfy mattresses. We had a... more

We stayed one night here & would go back again. Like other reviewers have mentioned, there are steep stairs that have to be climbed to get into the house, so this is not a place for those with weak knees or hips. Yes the rooms are small, but that is no different than most B&B's we have stayed in especially... more

Clementine's is located a couple of blocks uphill from the main street of Astoria, a picturesque town full of Victorian houses at the mouth of the Columbia River. It is a large house with an extension to the second floor of the buiding next door. This is not a superfussy type B&B where you have to worry about breaking priceless... more

The great experience started even before we checked in. The website was more than user friendly, and very informative. After I made my initial reservation I had to make some changes. I did have to call in to do that, but Judith was more than accommodating with my request. After we arrived, the location was everything you could imagine a... more

Two delightful nights. Can't say enough good things about the breakfasts. Beautifully served and marvelous tastes. Hostess, Judith, a delight. Within easy walking distance to restaurants on the wharf. Stayed in Lilac Room. Lovely view, little challenging finding places to put all our stuff but we figured it out. Fascinating view of the Columbia River and rooftops of downtown. Felt... more

Judith was a delightful hostess who prepares an incredible breakfast, and she has a wealth of information about the area. However, the rooms are small and old - not remotely glamorous. However, everything was clean, and the bed was very comfortable with its featherbed on top. People should be warned that the steps are incredible long and steep. Only carry... more

As I told Judith when we left, "the best B&B during our trip to northwestern states". I forgot to mention that she was also to most friendly hostess I have seen so far. - Finnish guests, July 2008- more

Judith the innkeeper makes the stay at this bed and breakfast especially lovely. She makes an amazing gourmet breakfast each morning, and care is in all the details of our stay. The next time my husband and I visit the area, we will most definitely stay at Clementine's again. more
