Cannery Pier is a great value when you factor in the complimentary services including breakfast, happy hour, free cookies, transportation to town, etc. We found the service to be personable and professional. We enjoyed using the bicycles for an easy ride along the waterfront. Workout facility, whirlpool and sauna were spotless and excellent. Rooms, spacious and well appointed. It is... more

Positioned on harbour means you are some distance from town & restaurants. No restaurant in hotel, but classic car chauffeur offered with compliments! Wine/canapes & buffet breakfast served in lounge (without dining tables). Room/view very beautiful. Staff very friendly/helpful. Wi-Fi worked OK. Not cheap, but worth considering if you want the comfort/views/eccentricity. more

My husband and I recently traveled to Oregon with another couple. For our stay in Astoria, I selected this hotel after reading all the great reviews. We were was not disappointed. This is one of the best small hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and took the time to help with restaurant recommendations and reservations.... more

I love this hotel! My husband and I spent our first anniversary here and we had the best time. The view is stunning. Although we did some sight-seeing throughout Astoria, this hotel is a great place to sit in your beautiful room and do nothing. Well, if watching ships and sealife sail past right by your nose can be construed... more

the Cannery Pier Hotel is a bit pricey for its location in a small town in remote NW Oregon, but you get a lot for your money. Our room, with one king-size bed, was very large and clean. It had a rather small deck from which one could view the intermittent parade of ships and boats going by on the... more

We gained new appreciation for Astoria in our stay at the Cannery Pier Hotel (CPH). The hotel is just as described in the photos on the website -- it's beautiful, and the rooms met and exceeded our expectations. We used the complimentary car service to a local restaurant, and it all worked perfectly. Note that the car service fills up... more

We stayed at the Cannery Pier Hotel and were very happy we did. We had a small dog with us and they were soooooo dog friendly. They supplied us with a dog bed, bowls for bottled water and kibble (which they provided ), a pigs ear, and even a couple of dog toys. The staff and management were fantastic, the... more

I want to come back to explore Astoria further simply so I can stay in this hotel again. I felt so incredibly relaxed here after several days roughing it along the coast. This was the best hotel and the best value this entire vacation. There's so much to see in the area as well so don't think it's not worth... more
