Cannot remember ever seeing big ships go by from my room before...! Loved the big tub with a view. Wine and cheese was great. The '58 Chevy limosine should not be missed...:). We thoroughly enjoyed our 11th anniversary stay here. Staff brought us s bottle of bubbly too!

My hubby & I stayed here two nights-wished it could have been longer. The owner went to a great extent to design this hotel like the cannery that used to be on this site. It is a lovely and unique design. The room itself is large with a fireplace, balcony over the water, window seat and a large bathroom with... More

there are not many hotels as spectacularly located as this, at the mouth of the Columbia river, by the immense Astoria bridge (the bridge is too high to make any traffic noise). Great views from the rooms, and a cleverly designed interior. No restaurants or bar, but a couple of vintage cars to take you and pick you up in... More

What a great hotel! My wife and I stayed here and were really impressed. The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. The whole place is very boutique but inviting. The rooms all have a spectacular view of the river heading out toward the ocean. Wine and cheese tasting in the evening is a nice touch before heading out to... More

The Cannery Pier Hotel is a home away from home. All rooms face the river. It is fun watching the ships come up the Columbia. Large comfortable rooms, soaking tub, fireplaces, bay type window seating to watch ships going by, room fridge and microwave make it easy to settle in at the end of the day. Lovely fresh fruit and... We'v stayed at the Cannery Pier on more than one occasion and never leave disappointed. Each room faces on to the Columbia River and the bridge connecting Astoria to Washington. It's very soothing to watch the river traffic, seagulls, and sea lions right outside your window. They offer an excellent continental breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, and evening fresh-baked cookies.... More

This hotel was excellent. We viewed the photos online and decided to spend a night here. When we arrived I first saw the hotel from the street and had some apprehensions; it was very clean looking but did not have the appearance I was expecting; I was afraid we made a mistake but once inside I knew it was going... My husband and I were traveling up the Oregon Coast on Business and decided to make Astoria our home for a night. After checking out all of our lodging choices we decided on the Cannery Pier Hotel. A great decision! CPH is priced a little higher that other chain hotels near by, but not outrageously. It was worth every penny!!... More

Right on the mouth of the river. Contemporary, clean. they provide information about the cargo ships coming and going and the sea lions provide some extra excitement. Short distance to Cape Disappointment and Long Beach or the Oregon shore.

I have had stayed at the Cannery Pier Hotel several times I am always treated like family. If your going to the Oregon Washington Coast this is a must stay. Wine and salmon served after 5 nice people and they will take you to anywhere you want to go for dinner or theatre in their old chauffeur driven cars. All... More
