This place is the best. The property is right on the river. All the rooms have a view. We were on the 2nd floor, and had a small balcony. Great view of the bridge. The rooms are fantastic. We had a comfy king size bed--there was a sofa and coffee table, a small bistro set and my fave part, a... More

Our corner suite had a balcony and beautiful views on 2 sides, including a bathtub with a view of the boats going by. This is a really unique place and although there seemed to be many couples there for a romantic getaway, we still felt comfortable there with our kids (9 and 11). The breakfast was wonderful, the staff friendly... More

On our way down the Oregon Coast we decided to spend night 1 in Astoria, Trip Advisor, you nailed it on this one. Staring with the Wine, cheese & lox when we arrived to the well appointed room with a ile wide view of all things nautical to help with dinner reservations from the amazing staff and big finish with... We absolutely loved this hotel! Not only do all the rooms offer amazing river views, the rooms are huge, immaculate, and overall just beautiful. There were three of us traveling together and the separate large bathing area was wonderful! It is only one and a half miles to the middle of downtown, which makes it a very nice location. They... We truly enjoyed our stay at the Cannery Pier Hotel, I only wish we had more time to spend there. Our room was a corner suite with the most beautiful scenic views that could be seen from each of the many picture windows, it was spotless and I loved the Pendleton blanket to snuggle under while we watched the sun... This is a wonderful little hotel. I had a beautiful room overlooking the river where I could watch the ships. They serve a nice continental breakfast, wine and cheese in the afternoon and cookies at night. The service was attentive, but unobtrusive. It is not walking distance to town - but our dinner at the neighboring Bridgewater Bistro was lovely.... More

Small modern hotel on Columbia River. Located near bridge in a commercial waterfront area. The hotel is very nice. Excellent breakfast. Complimentary ride to downtown in a beautiful 1958 Chevy Bel Aire. Staff is very professional. Would definitely return.

We spent 2 nights at the Cannery Pier Hotel in a corner suite and loved it. The hotel is full of character and having a room right over the river, watching the large ships pass is amazing. We could have sat in our living room and watched the ships all day! Our room was very clean and the corner suite... More

Most beautiful room of our honeymoon! Our first night was in a corner suite and we were floored at how lovely and peaceful and quiet it was!!! Complete Yelp review here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/cannery-pier-hotel-astoria?hrid=_ZSYXdl_btkTGNReMKnR7g

I'd been wanting to stay at the Cannery Pier Hotel for several years and finally got the opportunity last October -- let's just say I wasn't disappointed at all. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and the room was very clean with a fantastic view. The cheese and wine hour in the lobby added to the fun of staying... More
