Right on the mouth of the river. Contemporary, clean. they provide information about the cargo ships coming and going and the sea lions provide some extra excitement. Short distance to Cape Disappointment and Long Beach or the Oregon shore.

I have had stayed at the Cannery Pier Hotel several times I am always treated like family. If your going to the Oregon Washington Coast this is a must stay. Wine and salmon served after 5 nice people and they will take you to anywhere you want to go for dinner or theatre in their old chauffeur driven cars. All... More

Our first stay here. It was impressive. The room was very nice and the many floor to ceiling windows with views were sweet. The bathroom was super, with a raised claw foot raised tub with a shuttered window so you could see River. They served wine and appetizers from 5-6 and it was top notch. Morning had a fresh fruit... Every review about this hotel is true and it was worth the thousand mile drive to enjoy it.I can not say it any better than Frank G. from Washington.A foggy Friday morning and you hear the fog horns from two ships outside your window and they are close. We enjoyed our stay and the town of Astoria.

My wife and I recently stayed two nights at the CPH, our only regret was not taking advantage of the free local transportation service in their classic cars. The staff were very accommodating, even asking if we would like a glass of wine as we checked in even though the happy hour ended 40 minutes earlier (and the wine is... More

Incredible Vacation, starting with 2 nights at the Cannery Pier Hotel. The rooms were beautiful with incredible views. Wine and cheese available every evening. Beautiful bathrooms down to the claw foot tub with cozy robes. Since it was our 20th Anniversary the staff signed a card and left it in our room with a bottle of cider and 2 glasses.

We've stayed in quite a few places in Astoria, and this is the best. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are fantastic! All of the rooms have a beautiful view of the Columbia River, even from your claw foot tub. There's a wine/snack offering in the early evening, and a driver that will take you anywhere... More

Just checked in this afternoon and all I can say is Wow! We are on the first floor, the bridge is right outside our window and the sunset is absolutely stunning! Oh, yes, the room is lovely also. The king size bed is fabulous, the claw foot tub has a view across the room and looks out onto the river.... More

We stayed for two nights at the Cannery Pier for New Year's/our wedding anniversary. Even though we arrived late, we were offered wine when we checked in. Because it was New Year's Eve the next day, there was a special wine and cheese happy hour which included a whole lot of yummy appetizers. We also found our room decorated with... More

My wife and I spent two nights here and absolutely loved it. From the staff to the beautiful lobby and great views you couldn't ask for more. We stayed on the fourth floor and had a great view from our balcony. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is unique... More
