Recently spent a wonderful holiday evening at this excellent Hotel. Warm and welcoming staff, spectacular views of the Astoria Megler bridge from each room, as large ships cruise by, and a perfectly outfitted room, complete with binoculars to view the sites. Fireplace, wonderful happy hour, warm nightly cookies, and a relaxing continental breakfast. Walking distance to a wonderful restaurant, this... More

Do you want a visit you will never forget? Go to the Cannery Pier. The view and experience of the Columbia River is to die for. Watch the ocean-going ships pass by and take photos but usually just lay back and enjoy the river and scenery. It just does not get any better. Go shopping at the outlets in Seaside... More

Our second visit to Astoria and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else but the Cannery Pier. It's a unique experience from the location (as close as you can get to any waterside views - feeling like you are in the Colombia River on your balcony will not disappoint), the room (so so spacious and attention to detail from binoculars... What a wonderful experience! We stayed for two nights on the fourth floor. Our room was a very good size and well appointed. It had a spectular view of the Columbia River. It seemed like we were actually on a ship when looking out of the windows. The staff were very helpful and the service was very good. They had... More

I stayed here for a week on business and was truly impressed. Having spent 22 yrs. in the military and traveling the world, this has to be one of the most peaceful and nicest hotels I've stayed at in my opinion. They have an awesome staff as well. I'm planning to return one day with my spouse to enjoy the... More

Our first stop along the Oregon Pacific Coast, great place to stay, beautiful views. We had a studio suite with balcony and fireplace. Staff was helpful, loved the wine hour and breakfast. Luxury at a great price! Can't wait to go back!

We have been fortunate to have stayed at Cannery Pier several times, our most recent trip was in October with our friends from Australia. As we knew they would, they loved it too. They were in awe of the views as we walked in to the hotel, along with the attractive decor, the helpful staff, and their lovely room. We... More

Stayed one night with family including sons 10 and 8 yrs old. Excellent staff, view and rooms. Wine and salmon hour was delicious. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty with a great view. Used the car service to eat downtown. Kids loved the ride! Will have to revisit with no kids one day. Loved it!

Just returned from Astoria / Warrenton and stayed at Cannery Pier on the recommendation of my customer. This is a unique property that I can't say enough about. Extremely friendly staff, social wine tasting area / hours just off the lobby with amazing views. The standard room is more if a studio suite with balcony and fireplace with a claw... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay near the coast and found this great hotel in Astoria. The rooms were fresh, the views of the river were great and the staff was excellent. The rooms even had binoculars to watch the river traffic. The bathroom was large, the bed comfortable and the overall accomadations were excellent.... More
