Stayed one night with family including sons 10 and 8 yrs old. Excellent staff, view and rooms. Wine and salmon hour was delicious. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty with a great view. Used the car service to eat downtown. Kids loved the ride! Will have to revisit with no kids one day. Loved it!

Just returned from Astoria / Warrenton and stayed at Cannery Pier on the recommendation of my customer. This is a unique property that I can't say enough about. Extremely friendly staff, social wine tasting area / hours just off the lobby with amazing views. The standard room is more if a studio suite with balcony and fireplace with a claw... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay near the coast and found this great hotel in Astoria. The rooms were fresh, the views of the river were great and the staff was excellent. The rooms even had binoculars to watch the river traffic. The bathroom was large, the bed comfortable and the overall accomadations were excellent.... More

Myself and 3 girlfriends get together 2 times a year for a ladies weekend. We always stay at "funky" places (aka not Best Westerns) or rent houses. This trip we selected the Cannery Pier hotel because we had all heard separately that it's a great place to stay. None of us were disappointed! From the upscale room featuring a clawfoot... More

This is my favorite place to stay. Everything is perfect. Breakfast every morning and wine reception every night. Right on the Columbia River gives a beautiful experience. Go see the Goonies sights or just sit on the balcony and watch the ships go by.

I very rarely give an excellent review.....but the Cannery Pier Hotel deserves it. We stayed 5 nights during our visit to Astoria. We enjoyed everything they offer, great breakfast, wine, cheese and salmon reception, a driver and excellent staff. This hotel is stellar on details. The staff is so knowledgable of the area and goes way above and beyond. This... More

My Wife and I stayed here for one night for our 30th wedding anniversary, and to say we were impressed is an understatement. I am UK had chosen the hotel based solely on TripAdvisor reviews, knowing that we would be somewhere in there Washington / Oregon area for the day of our anniversary. I mentioned on the booking that we... More

A spur of the moment trip to the coast during a week of beautiful weather turned out to be amazing and this hotel was great. Excellent bed, gorgeous bathroom, everything on the room was just right, even the binoculars provided! I applaud the hotel for not using styrofoam or plastic. They offer a wine and cheese happy hour with real... More

We'd been saving up several years to stay here. Since the place was built, to be honest. It was worth the wait. The nearby Holiday Inn Express has equally sensational views, but the Cannery Pier outdoes itself with customer amenities. FIrst of all, we were blown away by binoculars in every room. Then there are the GENEROUS and filling wine... More

We stayed two nights at Cannery Pier in late August with our adult son. We arrived after the evening wine hour, but they graciously suggested we come down for some wine after we had settled in. We had a small suite with a view of the Columbia River. It was so relaxing to watch the Columbia from our windows. The... More
