Our room did not overlook the river but it saved us a few bucks. The hotel looked brand new. I will be staying again. more

We spent two nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Astoria and would return in a heartbeat. Great staff, clean, comfortable room (we had the king with/jacuzzi). Everything was top-of-the-line. Our room was facing the river so we could watch the ships traveling up and down the Columbia. Great experience! more

This hotel has a great location. The staff at the front desk was very helpful checking in and with information about area restaurants. Room was clean, large and well kept up. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was extremely clean. The fireplace in the room was a extra bonus and a good touch at the end of the day. Breakfast was your... more

We stayed just one night with our 5 and 7 year olds who loved the hot tub and pool and we all found the breakfast plentiful. Great quiet rooms and we had an excellent view of the river staying right under the bridge. Could not fault it at all! more

I highly recommend this hotel and city for a trip with toddlers. We stayed 3 nights with our son who is 3 and there was never a dull or whiney moment. When we asked our son what his favorite part of the whole trip was, he said, "riding the elevator". This hotel has lots of kid-friendly amenities: pool/hot tub, video... more

Me my wife and son stayed in Astoria recently. The hotel was beautiful and we had a riverfront room with great views. When you first check in you have to pay a 100 deposit if you have a non smoking room. It takes a month to be put on your debit card and a week on a credit card. So... more

The Holiday Inn Astoria is right on the Columbia river under the Highway 101 bridge. Astoria isn't very big so any location in the town is close to everything. The parking was a bit limited. I stayed in 2 different rooms over a discontinuous two week period. The staff was wonderful, very helpful. The lobby was nice and inviting. Upon... more

Other than the weather we had a very nice visit to Astoria. The Holiday Inn Express is a very well kept hotel located right under the bridge. The sign out front said "Where sleeping under the bridge is a good thing" They were not kidding, a very quiet restful night. We had a room on the river side of the... more

I booked a room for August 3rd and 4th. Unfortunately our family's plan changed and I had to cancel. I called two weeks before our scheduled arrival and canceled. When I received my AMEX bill there was a charge for one night. I challenged the charge. Holiday Inn said I was a no show for the second night. I explained... more
