Thank you for all of your positive comments about your stay and our hotel. We drove into Astoria in the early evening with no reservation. A quick look at Tripadvisor pointed us towards the Hotel Elliot. From the minute we walked in the door we knew we had made the right choice. The price was very reasonable at $149. The desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, they gave us excellent information on the... More

No air conditioning in an Astoria vintage hotel is really no big deal at least for about nine months of the year. However, if one is staying during a beautiful weather spell and enjoying the roof top after a beautiful dinner, then retreat to a room that suffocates because of no proper ventilation and air conditioning can be torturous frustrating... Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. Unfortunately, I am confused by the complaint about the absence of air conditioning. Our historic hotel was not built with A/C, but we have installed portable units to ensure that the rooms are comfortable during our warmer season. Please contact me at the hotel so we can discuss this confusion.... More

Spent one sunny afternoon and Friday night at the Hotel Elliot. Our room was on the second floor and had a view of the bridge along with the rooftop of the adjacent building. The accommodations were fine, a bit tired but fitting for a hotel of this age and style. The bathroom is small and has heated tile floors which... More

A characterful building recently modernised, our room was a touch small but had everything we needed. The bathroom was well equipped with good quality towels and very clean. The location is excellent to get around Astoria, we liked the town very much and would like to return. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, coffee, tea available 24/7 which is... More

This was our first stay at Hotel Elliot and definitely not our last. The atmosphere is one that we'd stepped back in time but yet the hotel still boasted all the modern amenities. The heated tile floor in the bathroom was an unexpected, wonderful touch. There are many breweries and restaurants in walking distance, as well as a farmers market... More

I would go back to Astoria just so stay in this hotel. It was fantastic. The room was spacious and cozy, complete with mini kitchenette, telelvisions, fireplace, and heated bathroom floor. Breakfast was included and was just right. We took advantage of the rooftop deck to admire the scenery and sunset. The biggest draw for me is that this hotel... More

We had a very nice 2 night stay at Hotel Elliott while briefly exploring Astoria and the upper northwest region of the state. The location was convenient, small but ample room, easy parking and complimentary breakfast. The room was comfortable and the room A/C was appreciated for the unusually warm august evening. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We... More

We visited Astoria, OR for the first time and were fortunate to have booked our stay at Hotel Elliott. It is a boutique hotel located in the center of downtown Astoria. Hotel Elliott was built in 1924 and has been totally modernized while still retaining the motif of the former hotel. The hotel provides a wonderful continental breakfast each morning.... More
