We went to Astoria for a much needed mini getaway - hubby, teenager and myself. Our first contact was over the phone booking the room and they were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were very impressed by the initial impression of the Hotel. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming and because they are a nice... More

The location of the Hotel Elliott was great. We could walk to everything we wanted to. The breakfast the next morning was pretty good too - much more than just muffins and coffee. Our room was just okay though. It was on the second floor. We needed to open the windows because it was very stuffy in there. But then... More

Loved this hotel! Stayed on a quiet Monday. Hotel is right in the heart of "downtown" Astoria. Go to the roof for the view if it's clear out. Very nice. Great food is across the street for dinner. Hotel has doubled windows. So the noise was negligible. I was impressed by the breakfast options in the hotel lobby in the... More

We stayed at Hotel Elliot last summer and really enjoyed our stay. The location couldn't be beat; very central for walking around the town, close to the waterfront and to great places to eat. Our room was small but that was part of the unique character of a period hotel. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The... More

We’ve gone to Astoria often over the years, and we”ve decided the Elliot is the place to stay. It’s located in central, downtown Astoria, a close walk to almost everything, and directly across the street from T.Paul’s Supper Club. [Don’t miss T. Paul’s.] This is an older hotel that’s been updated so that it still has its historic feel while... More

We have stayed at hotel Elliott several times and have found it our go to choice for hotel in Astoria. Prices are good and we can usually find a deal. Parking can easily be found at no cost and there are quite a few restaurants in proximity. Staff are gracious, breakfast is ordinary but with several choices, which is included... More

Booked on short notice and got a great price. Hotel is nicely refurbished in classy old style. Nice location. Would like to return when its warmer and sit out on the rooftop terrace. Astoria is a nice town - fun to look around.

Built about 1924, and very nicely remodeled in that style, this is a great place. When I saw the building, I thought: Are we really staying here? It turned out to be excellent. Great reception. Excellent bed, and I also liked the pillows, but my partner did not when she learned that they were down-filled. Bring your own wine up... More

We drove into Astoria in the early evening with no reservation. A quick look at Tripadvisor pointed us towards the Hotel Elliot. From the minute we walked in the door we knew we had made the right choice. The price was very reasonable at $149. The desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, they gave us excellent information on the... More
