We stayed in the Hotel Elliott after a day-trip exploring the Oregon Coast from Portland to Astoria. The hotel has a terrific location in downtown Astoria that was within easy walking distance of good restaurants and the waterfront trail. We particularly enjoyed the hotel's rooftop deck, a terrific spot to enjoy a glass of wine (carefully carried up from the... More

This is the third time we've stayed at the Elliott-the first during the summer. We usually visit in January for our wedding anniversary. This year we thought we'd check it out in the summer. Duh-this is what the Oregon Coast is all about. This visit we are staying in #409, a single room with king size bed. It faces the... More

We stayed two nights at this lovely, centrally located hotel. The small room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Service was excellent as was the breakfast that was provided. So glad we chose Hotel Elliot. Couldn't have asked for more.

We had a night in the Hotel Elliott in Astoria as part of a long road trip. I had booked beforehand and requested a view of the water. We were given a corner room with excellent views on 2 sides. Although the room was quite small, for one night it was o.k, and we had a very comfortable King bed.... More

I picked this hotel after reviewing Tripadvisor suggestions. Might have tried the number one Cannery Hotel but it was full. We stayed on a Saturday night which was great cause on Sundays there is an outdoor market in front of the hotel. Our room had a king size bed which was very comfy when you get in with great linens... Hotel Elliot was a great stay for my wife and I. Centrally located we could walk to the majority of the sights we wanted to. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel and the staff was wonderful. The girls at the front desk were always willing to give recommendations for activities or spots to eat, and always had smiles on... More

My wife and I were out here for leasuire travel last week as part of a Seattle-Cannon Beach-Vancouver stay. Upon arriving, they did have a room readily available and we went up to the room that faced south towards the parking lot. You could also see the Astoria Column from actually laying in bed. How fantastic. Checking in was fine,... More

While on a long car ride (6/07/14), we decided to stay in Astoria, which we have done several times. We had stayed at Hotel Elliott twice before and really like the rooftop views with a glass of wine. When we entered our room (301) immediately I noticed the dust on the furniture and multiple hand prints on the frig. But... More

Quaint. A little overpriced but old time charm. We were recommended to go there by a visitor who had just stayed the night before. We were in the area and decided to stop. Wonderful place, fantastic breakfast is included. That saves money on breakfast and lunch if you plan it right. Clean, upgraded, doesn't look like much from the outside... More

My wife likes to go to historic old hotels that often leave a lot to be desired. Not the case at hotel Elliot. The people are great, the bed the best this trip so far (18 days), an included superb breakfast, and a fantastic view from rooftop.
