I always stay in the cheapest room possible. This room was quiet, very clean, had enough plug ins, and a good continental breakfast for the price. Nothing fancy, but enough to cater for many tastes. There is a gorgeous view of the harbor and a sunset from the back of the office, and from some of the second story rooms.... More

We stayed here on a Friday evening. The lady running the desk was the most rude, unfriendly, unprofessional individual. I called numerous times for something, was told she'd get back to me, never did. I finally went down and tried to get it myself, only to get told to wait. Finally got the stupid dryer and a snarky remark and... More

My mom & I took at quick mother/daughter trip to Astoria. Let me say, this was an older motel with a good value. The man checking us in was extremely helpful and friendly. As we were waiting, he was dealing with hostile guests & handled it professionally. The morning lady was nice to visit with, seemed to have knowledge about... More

Jan.7th 2015. This is the first time back with the new owners. I have to say we were a little disappointed. This being the off season I feel the price was a little to much. Lets face it $78.00 for one night is too much for off season. We stay the night before down the coast for $52.00 and it... More

We passed through Astoria on a 10 day NW vacation, and were looking for a reasonable motel/hotel with a great view of the Columbia River. The Astoria Crest Motel met these qualifications. The view was fantastic, quiet, and relaxing from our 2nd story room and balcony. It was located on a major highway going into Astoria, and was convenient. Although... More

I stayed at the Crestview several times (6-9) every winter since 2011. This visit 11/30 and 12/001/2014 brought price increases and dog charges but the rooms are no better. Sadly the on-site owners of old sold to ? The whole point is to enjoy a clean, older hotel for a fair price. Now it isn't worth the price. Low season,... More

You are correct that the prices of the Astoria Crest Motel have changed, however our least expensive room rate during the week in the winter months is $59 which is below all franchised hotels in the area and only slightly above the other motels, none of which have any view of the Columbia River. We have a spectacular view. If... More

This is an affordable motel with lots of refurbishments going on. There are new owners and the views from the bluff are to die for. About 1 mile East of town at the top of the hill. An older property. You come here for the views of Astoria and quiet. GREAT value.

My husband and I stayed one night in the Astoria Crest Motel. We were delighted with the view of the Columbia River - it is awesome. This is an older hotel but our room was very clean and had everything we needed for a good night's stay. The beds were comfortable and there was a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom... More

We have stayed here before and had a room with the view of the water and the room was super. However, this time we traveled with a pet and the room was not good. Very disappointing, you pay extra for a pet but get a crummier room. Throwback to the fifties. No hair dryer, no air conditioning, road noise, sleeping... More

I always stay here (12 years) and I have to admit the place was getting shop worn. However, the owners have painted, put in new furniture, upgraded the room security, and place is much nicer. The motel is still the best buy in Astoria. THe location's view is truely beautiful - Columbia River meets the sea.
