We stayed here with a Groupon special. If it had not been that inexpensive we would have checked out after we saw the room. The good points were the view off the small balcony and the mattress was comfortable. This hotel is in serious need of a good cleaning, paint job inside and out, and bathroom updates. The front desk... More

If you want nothing but pampered luxury, then go elsewhere. This formerly Red Lion was going to be demolished, but a local family invested their lives into saving and slowly renovating this place. Each time we stay here it is better, they are doing a great job as funding allows. Staff is friendly, free breakfast gets better too, cereals, waffles,... More

This hotel was recommended to us by our fishing guide as it is close to where we launch. Upon arrival, it was not what I expected and not exactly where I would have chosen to stay had I known the area. However, it is the perfect fishing camp style hotel....fairly clean, lower end linens, beds and amenities, little smelly/grubby feel.... More

This past weekend my friends and I participated in the Portland to Coast relay. Being as this is such a huge event combined with Hood to Coast, hotels are few and extremely expensive. Astoria is not far from Seaside so we figured this would be a good option and for distance it totally was. We reserved 2 family suites (one... More

It is really old, the bathroom had hair on the counter and toilet seat. Could not get an extra blanket. The breakfast was nice. Our view was of the marina and the empty side of the place. Those baloneys has trash on thwm. I won't go back.

This is a guy's place. This hotel is perfect for fishermen in season. Located right on the marina, lots of people headed out fishing for Salmon when we were there. So... its not quiet in the early mornings. They are doing some improvements it seems, but it is an old building. Our bed was fine, but there were issues. The... More

It's an old Red Lion Inn. I think most every room has a nice view of the marina and all of the boats. It's a short walk to the boardwalk. Very fun watching the fishermen come in with their catch. Great place to go, they are very friendly and also pet friendly with reasonable rates. Not the best room in... More

I purchased the Groupon deal for 2 nights and because we had 5 people, we upgraded to the suite and had more room than we needed. It was basically two rooms with a connecting door. One side had 2 queen beds and a bathroom and the other side had 2 sets of queen bunk beds along with a sofa sleeper... More

There are lots of great things about this place. First, the location right over the water is spectacular! The gentle sound of the boats on the water is very enjoyable while sipping a glass if wine in the evening or drinking that first cup of coffee on the patio right off your room. Second, the staff really tries hard to... More

We stayed because of a Groupon deal for a one night stay for $60. The room is a little dated, but clean. The staff was friendly and positive. There were free DVD's to rent and bikes. We felt it was comfortable and a good experience.
