The staff here is okay. A good portion of this hotel is not renovated and is gross. It was smell and dirty. I have stayed in one room that was nice and that was why I came back. NO THANKS. Just be sure that this is also where you want to be located. This hotel is quite a ways from... More

After reading many reviews, I thought I was prepared. But I was still surprised. The desk clerk found us a room in our reserved category that was available, so we checked in early. That was great for our rainy afternoon. Our suite had two rooms. One room had a queen bed, a table with two chairs, a desk with a... More

It is like staying in an old Motel 6. Very dated and smelly. The bed is newer and the rug seems newer. Those are the pros to this place. Located in the middle of nowhere with only a kfc a block away to eat at. Nothing was as stated in the Groupon purchased. We drove 10 hours thinking we were... More

We have stayed here many times but times have changed and unless something is done it will be probably not be here amymore. So sad. It used to be a place of where it felt really welcoming. Animals welcomed with open arms. Rooms that are updated are not really fully updated. There very ran down. I was surprised that continental... More

No more breakfast; no more cookies; out of coffee creamer; out of cocoa. Some front desk personnel not as friendly or helpful as others. In the past when we were treated like family the quirks of the old building didn't stand out so much. Now they do -- no heat in the bathrooms, very quirky thermostat, drafty front door hard... More

The pluses: Astoria is coming back to life, dencent restaurants in the area, its at the coast, the view form the room is not to be beat, the bed was newer and decent. The minuses: This property is very run down and badly i n need of upgrading. The lobby is not attractive at all and the restroom down the... More

We did use a Groupon coupon for this 2 night stay. The place was full first night which meant the morning buffet was overcrowded. Place needs refurbishing and attention. Desk clerk told us wireless was available in room, but it didn't work. Next clerk said it had been "down" for several weeks and they hadn't had time to get someone... More

The views and location were great, but the hotel is in need of updates to their rooms. The rooms are spacious and had the basic amenities needed to enjoy our stay. We wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the free bike rental.

This is a great place to spend one or a few nights. Reasonably priced and a good value. Not the easiest to find. A lot of restaurants near (including a fish market and deli next door). Also some restaurants deliver so you can sit on your balcony and look at the marina and the bridge to Washington and have dinner.... More

While the room is older it was very clean, fresh smell and had a great view of the marina and the Columbia River. We would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was included but was pretty sparse; no fruit, no yogurt; did have juice, coffee, dry cereal and waffles however. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are way past the... More
