This is a great place to spend one or a few nights. Reasonably priced and a good value. Not the easiest to find. A lot of restaurants near (including a fish market and deli next door). Also some restaurants deliver so you can sit on your balcony and look at the marina and the bridge to Washington and have dinner.... More

While the room is older it was very clean, fresh smell and had a great view of the marina and the Columbia River. We would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was included but was pretty sparse; no fruit, no yogurt; did have juice, coffee, dry cereal and waffles however. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are way past the... More

Room was clean but needed updating badly. Very quiet and restful. Bed was super comfy. I purchased our stay on groupon and was suppose to have a king room but ended up with a queen which was ok with us. Nice view of the marina and the ship traffic. Was suppose to have wifi but it didn't work in room... More

This is the old Red Lion in Astoria. Great view, right on the marina. All the rooms have balconies, and on the first floor, you really could fish from your room in most of them. We used a Groupon, and good thing because at full price, we would have been quite dissatisfied. The hotel needs updating, not too shabby, but... More

I pretty much knew what I was getting when I booked this motel. The location worked, the price was right, the beds were good, the bathroom was fine, and the check-in clerk was nice and gave us some good tips about finding food. Down side: the light outside out room was missing a bulb so it was hard to find... More

We stayed here (using a groupon) during the summer and it was very nice. We liked it well enough that we returned in October. This time it didn't go so well. To start off they couldn't give us a King room as promised on the groupon. The Queen room we were given was gross. It was very shabby and run-down... More

This hotel is one of the old formerly red lion properties from the 70's-80's. This 2 night stay was a gift. Not where i would normally stay. But if it is free, why not. Priced high for what you get No pool, no anything really.

My wife and I stayed here on two lovely sunny days at the end of October. The inn sits at the marina and provides a wonderful view of the Columbia River and the marina environs. The rooms themselves are adequate but needing renovation. Astoria is a pleasant locale on sunny days with good access to interesting sites. The price of... More

We used a Groupon for a visit to this property and were well satisfied. I would like to give it a higher rating but they have a way to go. As someone has mentioned this is an old Red Lion property and I think now locally owned. They are working at it but it may take time. There were pluses.... More

My wife and I spent two nights here at the end of a drive up the coast. We were apprehensive given the unbelievable price on Groupon. But we were pleasantly surprised. The best part was the view. The room was spacious, the towels were thick, and the king bed comfortable. A slight smell of disinfectant greeted us but we didn't... More
