We were so pleased with the front desk service during our stay. They gave us a wonderful room and suggested a great restaurant to eat dinner at. I would recommend them to anyone. more
This is a very nice newer hotel that is also cozy!!! My room had a great view overlooking the Columbia River. All of the staff members I came in contact were extremely professional and friendly. I will stay at this hotel again when visiting quaint Astoria. more
As soon as I arrived at this hotel I felt welcome. The receptionist greeted me by name and let me know that I'd been upgraded to a better room. Pro's: - Good location next to the drawbridge, though only the rooms on the west side benefit from this partial view - it's not really ON the river like they make it look. - We had very friendly welcome service from the front desk. - Great pillows. Cons: - Very poor sink and bath/shower draining - It's a pet peeve... more

We are currently in the process of renovating our hotel; and have completed 50% of the rooms thus far plus all of the public space. We had to put these renovations on hold during the summer season, but plan to resume once occupancy dictates....
We were very satisfied with our two-nights here and would definitely come again. Although we didn’t share the total enthusiasm of some other reviewers, overall the most important factors were in place for a pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I can't guarantee this will happen to you, but we booked a room at this hotel in Sept 2009. Arrived early evening, and had to stand in line for a bit to register, since many folks were arriving. Nicely updated property. Room was ultra-clean and the beds are great. The location is considerably quieter than you'll find at the other chain properties on the south end of town, and all the staff we encountered were very pleasant.
