Stayed here for two nights on upper level. We were really pleased with how clean and comfortable it was for only $50! Definitely a little dated but hey if you want to go down the road and pay $150 a night, be my guest. If you want a cheap clean place to sleep, shower, and save your money to get... More

Nothing fancy, place is a little worn out, sink has no stopper, one lamp did not work, but the price is right and the room is clean. Nice lobby with coffee and tea all day. It's okay and met our needs for a short stay.

This motel is old and tired and in serious need of a total renovation it will likely never get. It's neutral colors and 1970's bed spreads also betray it's age. It's in reasonable repair and does have a small microwave and fridge and rooms sport a flat screen TV with cable. It does not have AC. Although our blankets were... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this motel, it was very clean, no smoking rooms and the front desk person was very friendly too. Bed sheets felt fresh and clean. They also had WiFi which is a big plus. Nice continental breakfast of baked goods and fruit and good fresh coffee. This motel is close to several restaurants, sightseeing places and... More

Positives: the owner was friendly, served a nice little continental breakfast and refunded our money with cheerful equanimity. Negatives: Sadly outdated. Worn out linoleum, bed uncomfortable (very thin "pad" between me and the mattress), paper thin walls. Right next to 101 with semis rolling by all night. Did I mention the view? There is none. Stares at the blank wall... More

I came to the Lamplighter on the suggestion of the Crest Motel owner. The Crest had no availability. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. He put me in a room in the back of the lot to 'get away from the road noise." he said. I know he meant well, but the room was at the... More

This has to be one of the worst motels we have stayed in. The motel is situated next to a busy road, the room was noisy and not clean. They had old stained pillow covers, in fact I thought at first that they hadn't been changed, but they smelt ok so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The bathroom... More

Cute little motel near the Astoria bridge. Stayed in April 2014. Outdated however still clean. Service was good, the gentleman at the front desk was delightful and helpful. Small continental breakfast but good oatmeal. Very decent stay and right value for the price. If you want somewhere ritzy this ain't the place for you. You get what you see.
