Called to get rates for this motel. It looks really cute and we have always wanted to stay here. Tonight I had planned to drive out to Astoria and stay at the Lamplighter. Unfortunately the motel office closes at 10PM. What kind of lodging establishment closed at 10pm? Especially in a tourist coastal town.... I was still hours away from... More

Went there because years ago our family had stayed ...and they had stew in the lobby and cookies for the kids....it was so pleasant and it was clean. This time, there was no stew or homey touch. Free coffee was about the extent of the amenities. There is no A/C, which means you have to keep your window open....really not... More

I stayed at this great motel for about a week and I just loved it! It has everything you need, and it is in a great location in lovely Astoria. The Front Desk is very welcoming and very helpful. The lobby is very pretty and they have a nice little continental breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend this... More

We arrived after a long day's drive and were just looking for a cheap bed for the night and this place fitted the bill. Everything was a bit tired and dated but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Flat screen TV had a good selection of channels and wifi was fast enough for our basic needs. The place... More

Stayed here for two nights on upper level. We were really pleased with how clean and comfortable it was for only $50! Definitely a little dated but hey if you want to go down the road and pay $150 a night, be my guest. If you want a cheap clean place to sleep, shower, and save your money to get... More

Nothing fancy, place is a little worn out, sink has no stopper, one lamp did not work, but the price is right and the room is clean. Nice lobby with coffee and tea all day. It's okay and met our needs for a short stay.

This motel is old and tired and in serious need of a total renovation it will likely never get. It's neutral colors and 1970's bed spreads also betray it's age. It's in reasonable repair and does have a small microwave and fridge and rooms sport a flat screen TV with cable. It does not have AC. Although our blankets were... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this motel, it was very clean, no smoking rooms and the front desk person was very friendly too. Bed sheets felt fresh and clean. They also had WiFi which is a big plus. Nice continental breakfast of baked goods and fruit and good fresh coffee. This motel is close to several restaurants, sightseeing places and... More
