I really like this place. Great location, unique renovation and décor, great staff, but it's about 5:00 AM as I write this because of the local truck traffic which started about 10 minutes ago. Allegedly there's a quiet side to this place... may specify that next time. Otherwise can recommend hotel to anyone.

We stayed in a suite (305) recently, which has a gigantic bathroom in the room. We read the reviews and expected the street side rooms, which is what we had, to be loud. We didn't know that it's loud because the rooms face the major road that goes through town and the windows are probably single pane. We thought it... More

Great location near to the sea front which is worth a wander along or even better to get the trolley bus! There is only parking a few blocks away but we found a space easily. The staff were friendly and welcoming and had good advice on where to eat. The rooms are modern and comfy with a TV and DVD... More

Came here while road tripping with mg husband for our honeymoon. We stayed 2 nights here each in different rooms and lived every second of it. We were in a second room the second night because we decided to extend our stay and there was already a reservation on our room for the next night. Great staff and within walking... More

My girlfriend and I were running late due to traffic on the I-5; we called ahead to let them know about our late arrival, and there were no qualms about it. Though the hotel was a little tricky to get to (given the one way streets in Astoria), we found it quickly enough. The building is old but has been... More

We've stayed in the Commodore twice now on trips to Astoria. The hotel is in a perfect location and has great minimalist design (no floral bedspreads or bad watercolor art on the wall). Everything is white and clean and the hotel has a wonderful old, historic feel that fits right in in the city of Astoria, which is itself a... More

We loved our stay here! Each room has an iHome, which was fantastic. There were two bathrooms on our floor that we shared with the rest of the guest but we never had a traffic flow problem. The 14 St coffee shop was good as well and open very early.

We stayed in a "cabin" for one night on our way up the Oregon coast. The cabin was very clean and basic but had modern cool updates like artwork and ipod docking station/flat screen TV. The hotel is a really cool renovated space that does "old vs new" in a really cool way. History meets modern convenience and a little... More

We don't usually stay in hotels when we are on vacation. Usually camp in our fifth wheel. This year we decided to take a 2 week motorcycle trip. Astoria, Oregon what is one of our stops. I chose this hotel based on reviews on this site I was not disappointed nor was my wife. We stayed in room 309 which... More

Found this while passing through Astoria for a night, and it was a delightful surprise. It was the perfect start to an Anniversary Trip! Great staff, great environment. The decor and service are both very personable. The rooms are minimal and clean, but perfectly appointed. The lobby could draw you in all day, very cozy and comfortable. The coffee shop... More
