Our first night on a trip down the Oregon Coast with the kids. Loved the price. Clean comfy room and an indoor pool. It would be nice, however, to have a coffee pot in the room. The kids loved being under the bridge!

This was the last night of a week long road trip, where I stayed at Motel 6's along the CA & OR coast. By far the worst room of the 5 nights. It was clear they had done the Motel 6 standard upgrades (Moen fixtures, IKEA style cabinets, furniture, ect) but they didn't bother to repair water rotten drywall, caulking,... More

I selected this hotel because it was close to the finish line of the Great Columbia Crossing Race. I registered on-line in July, nearly 3 months before the event, so I could reserve a river view room. When I read on-line that it was now a Motel 6, I called them the day before I arrived to confirm my reservation... More

Pros: This is a diamond in the rough. It looks like any roadside motel. While checking in, I asked to use the bathroom and found a pretty serviceable indoor pool. I exited the back door and found a breath taking view of the waterfront. We stayed in room 210, the north-facing second floor, which had amazing views of the Astoria-Megler... More

Our room had been recently refurbished; it was very clean and comfortable. Our room was on the back side and quiet. We walked along the path next to the trolley tracks to the Buoy Brewery for an excellent dinner. Astoria was just a quick stopover on the way home after a two week trip through the Northwest, but we will... More

Check your bed linens and pillow cases...hair found on both upon arriving as if nothing was laundered. Gross! The carpets are filthy and obviously need to be deep steam cleaned. Even though this is a cheaper motel, it should still at least be clean.

This is a great location for a budget motel. You can catch the street car right behind it and the bicycle path is adjacent to the tracks. In addition to that the Bridgewater Bistro which was rated # 2 for restaurants by TripAdvisor at the time I went is also located behind the building. I went to Astoria to explore... More

Summer motel rates in Astoria are high, but this motel, now a Motel 6, was a good rate for the area. We had a comfortable 2 Q bed room for 3 people. The location was convenient: a short walk to a couple good places for breakfast, and the river walk and trolley line were even closer. The front desk staff... More

This location is now a motel 6. We stayed in a two queen bed room. Room was average size and bathroom was small. Room seemed clean; however tub/shower in bathroom had some staining in corners😝. They do not have a continental breakfast. With no breakfast price seemed a little high for motel 6. Maybe that is average price for the... More

This was the only pet-friendly motel in Astoria that had any vacancy on a summer weekend with only 4 days' notice. It turned out to be a good basic motel with clean comfortable rooms and reasonable rates (for Astoria), though the bed was a bit on the hard side. Though the shining part was the staff. In the next room... More
