It wasn't anything great. I liked it because it was close to the bridge (great view), is right off the bridge, and close to restaurants etc... The girl at the front desk seemed tired and bored. Other than that, I think she was being friendly? It was a nice first place to stay on our road trip. Would probably stay... More

The location of this motel was nice for walk and exploring the waterfront. The staff was welcoming and when our car battery expired they were helpful. The room had a fascinating view of the waterfront activities, was clean, quite and modest, although on our later travels we realized that it was overpriced. The gem on our way to Astoria on... More

Very clean rooms, friendly staff. Views were minimal, but centrally located. Great restaurant 100 yards away. We stayed on the ground floor. Maybe views were better on second floor. they had nice indoor swimming. The breakfast bar in the lobby was minimal. However, the affordability of the place made us pleased.

I guess the tone was set when I arrived for check-in and the girl didn't rise from her overstuffed chair to greet me. She just stared at me until I spoke. She assigned me a room at the back of the motel - down a ramp between the motel and the building that housed the pool - and almost under... More

We did not plan to stay in Astoria but decided to stop as we had a long driving day and thought it was a nice place. The Dunes was not our first choice, it was a busy weekend and other hotels were sold out. We took a room at the Dunes without a lot of other options and found it... More

The hotel served it's purpose, well. We were fishing and the hotel is next to the marina. The staff is incredible. Very helpful regarding things to do and places to eat. Would stay here, again, and recommend it to friends.

Compared to everything else in downtown, this place was a great value. Nice location; maybe 100 feet from the riverwalk. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they looked nice. Big room and nice bed. Decent bathroom and shower/bath. The wifi was overtaxed and essentially unusable. We would stay here again when we return to Astoria.

This was one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed at. The location is near the marina, right under the bridge with a lot of traffic noise. Outside was dirty with no appeal. The room was dirty - stains on the rugs, bathroom not sanitary. The bedspreads look like they've been there for 100 years, and very dirty. The pool... More

Good location and easy to get to. On the river walk easy to walk to town, good restaurants nearby. Dank pool and jacuzzi available. We opted for larger not river view room. View not worth it. We had a view of the bridge from the front door. The breakfast consisted of coffee and juice, hot chocolate a packaged roll and... More

Spent a night in this motel. The rooms are nothing special but were clean. The Internet is very weak and the breakfast is very basic. So don't expect too much. A plus is a very good restaurant that is in a 2 min walking distance. Considered it as overpriced for what I got.
