This place is outdated, musty/moldy, and needs a serious facelift. I'd say the only thing worth mentioning was that the breakfast was alright. The woman who checks you in is pretty intense and condescending (goes so far as to showing you how to open the door with a code and making you do it in front of her to show... More

Our mistake not to read these reviews prior to making our reservations. Though the room was clean, as was the bathroom, the condition of the house was poor. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the "parlor" is full of clutter, and the breakfast is the same as those noted in the previous reviews as far back as 2010...the exact... More

The Grandview was part of our 35th anniversary celebration vacation and was a highlight of our trip. The home is quaint as is the innkeeper with her great sense of humor. Our room was lovely with a fire place, comfortable bed, and a sitting area in the turret complete with Victorian chair and sofa. We enjoyed cocoa and a game... More

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely old home. It was cozy and comfortable, and it was really nice to get off the beaten path of highway 30. Views were breathtaking. Everyone was friendly and we were treated well. Breakfast was nothing special, but adequate. The WIFI didn't work. Astoria is a little pricier than the rest of the Oregon coast,... More

We found our stay at the Grandview very pleasant. The owner was delightful. We had a lovely breakfast of smoked salmon and bagels, fruit, eggs ,coffee and juice with a view of the river. The young man making breakfast was very nice and accommodated guests with food allergies. Our room was comfortable with a nice view on the river. The... More

Nice location and views of the Columbia River. Our stah went down hill after that. The owner is a little different, breakfast is very sparse and slow. We weren't sure if there was more food coming out of the kitchen or not but when the cook left we knew it was over. We were still hungry and went to McDonald's.... More

We opted for the Gazebo Room on a sunny MLK weekend, and could not have been more pleased with our choice. The views of Astoria, the Columbia River, and the freighters were excellent. A french door leading out to the balcony/fire escape tempted me briefly outside, but with the cool January temperatures, it was more pleasant to enjoy the panoramic... More

The room here was nice and cozy. Breakfast room had a great view of the Colombia river. I was not impressed by breakfast. It was fresh fruit, a bagel that was only so-so, and locks. Not the best breakfast I've had at a B&B. Otherwise it was a nice place with a good value.

I haven't stayed there yet but my friend and I will be there the end of August. Charleen was very nice and was very accepting of my service dog. Another B&B lied about not having any rooms, she had 2 and hung up on me after denying me lodging. She had the perfect room for us and I am so... More

I just can't get enough of this quaint, Victorian B&B. The owner, Charlene is a dear woman. The breakfast of smoked salmon on a toasted bagel is wonderful especially when seated in the dining area overlooking the Columbia river. The B&B is in a perfect location, within walking distance to downtown and the river walk. If you visit Astoria (and... More
