Yes, there is a musty smell in the entry hall. I did not notice it in our room, though. Carolyn is a gracious hostess. Breakfast was good. The room was very large. The bed was comfortable. We stayed 4 nights while visiting family, and this was a convenient and comfortable alternative to a hotel.
