Oh my, this place is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. We were given keys to room 206. As we approached, you could hear our neighbor playing Mexican porn on his tv with his door open. We opened the door and the smell was horrible. There were blood stains leading from the window to the kitchen... more

I read the reviews and thought it couldn't be THAT bad but I would agree with most people now. Inattentive staff, dirty hallways, weird smell, hard bed, scuffed and broken furniture, and room keys from 1980 that barely worked - were a few things that I can mention. The funny part was the light/fan in the bathroom. It would rev-up... more

I don't know if my review will be accepted, but this was so bad that I refused to stay. The room that I was "provide" smelled so bad - I think they were using disenfectant to cove up cigarette smoke. On window was cracked and the other one didn't close. A female traveling alone - I found another location. The... more

After reading the reviews for this hotel, we reluctantly stayed here for two nights in late September 2007 and were very pleasantly surprised. We found little to complain about even when we tried to find something. I have honestly never found previous reviews to be so far out of whack...perhaps there's been a minor update recently...beats me. This hotel is... more

Stayed here for a week on business - and it was a mistake. No wake up calls, no housekeeping, rooms that smelled like marijuana, hard beds, unhelpful and apathetic staff, unreasonable hours, and slow wi-fi. If you are here on pleasure and need a cheap place to stay, this may not be too bad - but on business, stay somewhere... more

We stayed at ESA because we were in town for the GatorBowl. The location is very convenient but the hotel needs a makeover! The hallway rugs are stained, the bed linens are tattered. Be aware that you must provide your own shampoo, and bring your own hairdryer. If you want clean towels you must exchange your dirty towels at the... more

We booked this hotel for a football game. The price was very reasonable, and the location is great for walking across the bridge to the Landing or catching the water taxi to go to Alltel Stadium. Actually the room rate was less than half that of other hotels nearby, but you get what you pay for. Our room was adequate,... more

I just returned from a three night stay at the Extended Stay and want to warn people to stay away! It was the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with a hotel and its staff. Like previous posts, housekeeping was no where to be seen and requests had to be asked three or four times before something was... more

Stayed here in September while doing business in the Riverside/Avondale area. Great location, close to interstate and easy walking distance to good restaurants and water taxi to the Riverfront Landing, Alltel Stadium, etc...Room was a good size and nicer than I expected. Staff helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to others and definitely would stay there again when... more
