Excellent service from staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Very close to downtown. Walking distance from Skyway & Water taxi, which can take you across the river to the offices there and Jacksonville Landing. Only constraint is that the closest supermarket - Publix - is a few miles away. There's an Avis next door though and some great bars and restaurants closeby! more

Old hotel. Not remodelled at all. Old style room and decorations. Somewhat below perfect cleanliness. No hair dryer in the room. Location is immediately next to hotels that are $300/night. Where do I begin...I stayed in this hotel for a week because my company had booked it cos its closed to where I had to visit for work. This was by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. Oh my, this place is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. We were given keys to room 206. As we approached, you could hear our neighbor playing Mexican porn on his tv with his door open. I read the reviews and thought it couldn't be THAT bad but I would agree with most people now. Inattentive staff, dirty hallways, weird smell, hard bed, scuffed and broken furniture, and room keys from 1980 that barely worked - were a few things that I can mention.
