Was not impressed! Room damp and musty and had a large bug that looked like a huge cockroach crawling around. I know Florida is famous for their bugs but this is the only hotel out of many that had bugs. more

This hotel does not impress. It's an older building with catwalks (no interior corridors). The beat up old elevator says it all. 1. It has free shuttle only from 9am-9pm..but it was not claimed on website. I arrived JAX around 7 pm & call the hotel for the shuttle, they asked me to call a cab to hotel. We got to the hotel and check in was easy and fast. The young man at the front desk on (1-11-09) and (1-12-09) was great, he helped us with printing our boarding passes and printed our directions out every time we wanted to go somewhere. We were traveling to Georgia but flew into the nearest airport, Jacksonville. We stayed here the night before we flew out. Sam at the front desk was great - wonderful personality. The room was spacious, but just OK. It smelled and not all of the lights worked. The price is right for only needed somewhere to sleep overnight. more
