I knew what I was getting prior to my arrival at the Residdence Inn thanks to my fellow Tripadvisor reviewers. The Residence Inn was just as previously described...a "has been" in the Marriott world. Stayed there on one of my many stops during my honeymoon. Was very nice to come in after a long days drive to a fish fry by the pool with free wine and beer. The room was really clean and cool. Stayed here recently while visiting the Jacksonville area. Hotel was very clean and grounds well kept. Rooms are set up with external entrances wih a lodge type feel. Here on business. Arrived exhausted at 5:00, but I had to wait in the lobbly for 45 minutes as they said hosekeeping was behind. Room was dated with old TV's and so-so cleanliness. Happy Hours refreshments weak, breakfast was so-so. Taking it off our list for future trips. more
