Conveniently located just off I-95 in a safe location w/nearby amenities, though a bit tricky to get back on the highway. Hotel condition was good, clean and comfortable room. more

Booked the hotel via Hotwire for $39 per night. Hotwire states this is a 3 star hotel. Hardly. Polyester bedspreads, hard beds, dirty moldy, mildew carpets and popcorn ceilings do not make a 3 star hotel. Upon check in the only clerk was overwhelmed with the number of people checking in. The lobby and exterior are very nice and decieving.... more

Hello there. Hey cheap people have tastes too. I want to personally say Best Western is not a bad hotel, but the staff at this place was not on their game. First, the pool was nice size but it stayed dirty. My room was right over the pool and I love swimming. I didn't go swimming after the first day... more

This hotel is under renovations however they have let this hotel get to unacceptable sleeping conditions. The entrance has been remodeled and looks good and that is where it stops. The room on entry was very humid!!! The carpet is worn and dirty. The faucet in the bathroom had a constant drip only adding to the humidity in the room.... more

I have stayed in quite a few hotels as I do travel frequently and I have had some horror stories.......BUT there was no horror at all at this hotel. I was more than satisfied with my whole 4 night stay. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and quiet and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I... more

I received a rate of $29 on Hotwire. I just wanted something cheap because I don’t live far from Jacksonville and I had to be somewhere early. In addition, I have a cold and don’t feel like driving on strong medicine. Therefore, I decided to just stay the night in Jacksonville just in case I started feeling worse so I... more

This hotel was a $29 deal on Hotwire, they gave me 1 queen bed at check-in, but I was not trying to deal with my son kicking me in my back all night or stealing the covers so I paid $10 to upgrade to 2 queens. I guess I didn't get one of those updated rooms other reviewers spoke of,... more

I brought my girlfriend down to Jacksonville, for her birthday. It was the first time she and I had been to Florida together - much less the northern part of the state. The trip was part of a cheaply comprised package on Travelocity. We stayed over the weekend and I dare say that I was really very surprised by the... more

We stayed 4 nights at the Best Western JTB/Southpoint. Overall, we were pleased. Lobby looks like it was updated with marble floors. Overall, room appearance was nice. Bathroom was updated with granite countertop. First room bath tub did not drain. Two days later we switched to another room. It looked nearly identical. Both rooms had relatively soft mattresses (we like... more
