Stayed at the J'ville Marriott as part of a group in town for a family celebration. The hotel couldn't have been better. The staff was accomodating and friendly, the rooms were spotless and the location was terrific. The St. John's Town Center is 5 minutes away so there's always something to do on your free time. more

The Jacksonville Marriott is located south of the city and a 20-minute drive from downtown. The property itself looks as if it has recently undergone renovations and the immediate setting is rather green. Thank goodness my stay was a company paid expense. The inside is very old and dated. The bathrooms are just awful. Shower doesn't work, water smells like sulfur. The staff were ok and the buffet breakfast was good, but not a recommended property for a family vacation, and ok for business if you don't spend much time in your room. more
