This was the second time I have visited this hotel. Both times have been the same so I will review both my stays. The first time was a double room and the second time was a king room. Both times we were put on a higher level and had a view of the outdoor pool. The first time we stayed... more

I stayed here on a Sunday night. The staff were friendly and courteous. I reminded the check-in clerk that I had requested a quiet room and he switched me from the one he had been about to allocate to a corner room at the back of the building. Nice, comfortable bed, as I have come to expect with Marriott. Dinner... more

Stayed at the J'ville Marriott as part of a group in town for a family celebration. The hotel couldn't have been better. The staff was accomodating and friendly, the rooms were spotless and the location was terrific. The St. John's Town Center is 5 minutes away so there's always something to do on your free time. more

My company paid $199 per night for this room... YES.. $199 a night in Jacksonville??!!??!!! This should be an $89 a night room without the problems. First let me say that if I paid $89 for this room I would have been satisfied. I will just go through the list now of why this place was not good, and very... more

We had a nice stay at this Marriott. It is right of I-95 which was great for us since we were traveling to Orlando and just needed a good place to sleep. That's what you'll get here as the rooms were clean, smelled fresh, and the beds were great. We ate at a nearby restaurant so I don't know what... more

It seemed for awhile that the Marriott brand hotels were falling behind their subsidiary brands in comfort and amenities - if my stay at this Marriott was any indication, it seems like the flagship has finally caught up. The beds and pillows were very comfortable (always a plus for me as a business traveler, since really the only time I... more

The staff here were great, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Best of all, the indoor heated pool was actually warm and wonderful. I'd love to stay here again. The only negative factor was the COLD temperature in the conference room -- one guest actually brought a blanket to wrap herself in. Not until late on the 2nd day... more

The Jacksonville Marriott is located south of the city and a 20-minute drive from downtown. The property itself looks as if it has recently undergone renovations and the immediate setting is rather green. There are several shortcoming apparent however once you get past the courteous check-in and the portrait of the beneficinet Marriott founders. My room on the third floor... more

This is a nice hotel that I find is suitable only to business travelers. I can’t see any other reason to stay here other than business, as the hotel is located in the nearby of a business park together with several others, and to me this place looks like the middle of nowhere. Nice green areas, but no attractions in... more

Thank goodness my stay was a company paid expense. The inside is very old and dated. The bathrooms are just awful. Shower doesn't work, water smells like sulfur. The staff were ok and the buffet breakfast was good, but not a recommended property for a family vacation, and ok for business if you don't spend much time in your room. more
