Our family enjoyed the clean pool and the fun lake activities ($6 per person extra) at the FLR. The staff was all about business and they have a bunch of rules but they were always very friendly. Wifi was strong throughout the park. They also have cable connections with lots of channels. Some of the sites have broken pavement which... More

Wonderful location, clean, easy to access campsites for all types of RV. Large lake, cafe restaurant, and full ammenities. Close to highway and about 4 hours (hauling a travel trailer) to Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground. We stopped here on our way from Pittsburgh. Staff are wonderful. When eating breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Cafe, don't forget to look for... More

We have been coming here for almost 10 yrs and absolutely love it!!! The cabins are perfect for a family vacation. Some of the reviews on here complain about the rules, I'm glad that most are in place, because no one wants a bunch hooligans ruining their time here. Nice super friendly staff, will continue for many more yrs and... More

We read that this was rated (one of?) the best campground in America. It was unlike any campground we had ever seen before. Absolutely beautiful and clean. Level all-concrete site pads with full service. The roads were a little bit difficult to navigate. The reason for all of the niceness was all of the rules! I have never read a... More

I read several of the negative reviews and I can't speak to the dog policy, but our site (30) was level, clean, and easy access. Yes the roads are narrow, but I pull a TT 35' and had no issues making the corners. The office staff was nice and the place is clean everywhere we walked. We only stayed 1... More

As a recent retiree and new owner of a travel trailer, I have experienced an uneasy and what I call misleading policy from a Jacksonville Camp ground. The camp ground, Flamingo Lake RV Park, is what I understand to be a fairly new campground. My wife and I camp at various locations each month. We travel with our 9 year... More

We spent two nights. We have 2 dogs and did not have any issues because of them. The lake view was beautiful. It is very close to the interstate, but noise was minimal,. Location was not very close to amenities, but had easy access from interstate,. Nice one mile walk around the lake. Park has a good amount of permanent... More

Don't waste your time here unless you like being along an interstate under power lines. Very noisy. Only part of the park is paved and the sites aren't very level. There are a lot of people who live in this park and aren't very nice to outsiders. We got yelled at just about every time we went out on our... More

I am going to review from two perspectives. It is not the best place for Big Rigs. Paved sites are very narrow and ours was overgrown with small palm trees. Then we had the really tall pine trees that kept dropping their cones when raining or windy. Roads are narrow so take it slow. Office staff is very good, grounds... More

We stayed here in a RV for 7 nights and it was very quiet and relaxing. The park has several different types of sights, from wide open on the lake, to very shady a couple rows off the lake. The staff was very helpful, (they upgraded us when we got "bumped" off our site by a month long tenant.) easy... More
