This inn is right down the street from my relative's place so it was a perfect location for us to stay when we visited for a significant birthday. I stayed here once before and was very happy with the accommodations 3 years ago as well as now. The rooms are higher-priced than highway hotels, but that's what you'd expect for... more

My first experience with this bed & breakfast was good. Nothing special but clean, good location and average price. My last stay was an experience though. First of all, we arrived after hours and there were 2 slips and keys waiting on the front desk but neither were our name. We chose between the two available since it was midnight... more

Management response from
Riverdaleinn, owner

Some dispute points. Owner is on premise but was in bed at midnight and would have responded if called per posted instructions. Guest elected to help themselves to a more expensive room which was assigned to another guest. The other guest arrived to find the room taken by this guest. Owner was contact by the other guest at 1 am...

This is a beautiful old mansion/carriage house turned into a bed and breakfast with lovely rooms furnished with antiques of varying prices. A big addition is their awesome restaurant. It is fairly pricey, but the food we had there was some of the best I've ever eaten. We were in Jax to visit our family, so, unfortunately, we missed the... more

We were told our room was ready and then told it was not. When we finally got in the room, the toilet was close to overflowing. My husband had to plunge the toilet and he said it looked like it had overflowed before we got there. There were also two humidifiers running - one in the room and one in... more

We held a small family reunion in Jacksonville in March, and the Napier Suite at Riverdale Inn allowed our whole family to enjoy the time together to the max--the suite accomodates up to eight adults. This sweeping and gracious, beautifully restored historical landmark building is right across the street from Riverside Park, and central to many attractions in Jacksonville. We... more

I have stayed at the Riverdale Inn on 3 different occasions, all business related, and every stay has been nothing short of excellent. The Riverdale appears to be a beautiful historic home and the decor is very tasteful. The rooms are larger than many B&B with very comfortable beds. The meals, including the breakfast are excellent. I have eaten dinner... more

This is a wonderful inn, with fantastic rooms and a tremendous restaurant on the first level, and within walking distance of the Riverwalk and close to downtown offices, etc. There is a nice park with riverfront access about 1 block away from the inn. Other nice restaurants nearby (within a mile). Reliable Wifi in the rooms. Excellent breakfast. Friendly owner... more

I've stayed at this property almost every week between September and January. The service is friendly. Rooms are comfortable and include fun robes! The food is fantastic. The restaurant is fun and exciting. I love the Ahi tuna or the Chicken Marsala. So yummy. The creme broule is to die for as well! You can't go wrong here. Enjoy your... more

The Riverdale Inn is a wonderful place to explore Jacksonville away from the big city feel. The house is well maintained and comfortable. The staff is very pleasent and helpful. We attended a concert the night we arrived so we slept through breakfast. On previous stays, the breakfast was very nice. The Riverdale Inn is a wonderful place to stay... more
