Was impressed with how the hotel was set up. Was not impressed how ever with the service. I just got married and checked in around 830pm or 900pm. By 1010pm the power went out. Went down and was told the power was in the process of being fixed. No big deal until I woke up at almost midnight sweating to... More

Usually, we stay in the Gateway Inn on base, but booked solid. Enjoyed do Ding there was room here, but overjoyed to find out it had been renovated in past year. Apartment like finish, new and we'll designed. Breakfast was reasonable quality and included, free wifi, and full kitchen.Best bang for buck in town, for active, reserve and retired military.

We had a nice room with 2 queen beds and a kitchenette. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen was stocked with cooking pots, dishes, silverware, cook top, and full size refrigerator. Easy to cook simple meals here. Nice hot breakfast buffet. Waffles, oatmeal, juice, yogurt and coffee were are available. Very clean throughout. Will stop here again.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for 1 night as we traveled from Port Canaveral back to DC. We were on an anniversary vacation, and chose the lodge since we were married at NAS JAX 25 years ago. It was perfect for our needs...clean, comfortable, safe, and affordable :-) Interesting note-For the entire length of our 1-night... More

The long renovation process is winding down. The lobby is roomy with snacks for sale and a seating area for guests to meet and socialize. Our room was clean and the kitchenette was modernized. Two comfy queen beds and a flat screen tv gave us all we needed for a lovely stay. The well stocked breakfast bar with a waffle maker... More

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Best price for the room with pets than any other hotel. The staff were all very friendly. Free wifi, but super slow, you can purchase faster speed of needed. Had a two queen bed room with a kitchenette - two-burner stovetop, mini fridge, coffee pot. The room needs some repairs, like exposed nail boards in... More

Stayed twice & everything was great for the price. Construction is still ongoing, but once complete things should be quiet & even better. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Jacksonville. Oh, the small kitchenette is a nice feature.

We choose the Navy Lodge as it is close to family in Jacksonville, we would return for the same reason. The lodge has a nice location by the river and golf course, there are plenty of places to walk. They advertise breakfast, it is a joke - a paper bag with processed stuff. The golf club across the street has... More

We have had the good fortune to stay overnight at the Jacksonville Navy Lodge several times over the past few years. We recently spent several days there. The beds are very comfortable and our room with the mini kitchen served our needs perfectly. The staff has always been attentive and ready with information about the area. Our teenage grandson loves... More
