Yes it is a bit odd staying at a hotel which primarily services people getting medical treatments but we found it great for our short stay in j-ville... the hotel is nice, but not super new or fancy... however for about $115 we got a great 1-bedroom unit with a real kitchen... there is a decent workout room, patio area... I feel that this Mayo Clinic should not be part of "the Marriott". I have stayed at many residents Marriott and they are great!! but this one not so much. 1) I came down to the lobby and the tables were dirty and rugs, plus I ask if I could have a breakfast item to go ( and they were... More

I am so sorry for your experience and feel horrible that you had such a poor encounter. We do offer a complimentary breakfast buffet and offer trays for guests needing to take items up to their rooms. We can usually pride ourselves on our cleanliness and buffet, and while this is no excuse, the only thing I can think of... More

This is an amazing hotel! The front desk person, Ester was very kind and asked to switch our room from a one bed and one pull-out to a two bed and one pull-out because we had three people in our party and the person who had the larger one had a party of only one. She just did it and... More

We are very sorry that you found our rooms outdated but are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We renovate every 6 years and our most recent renovation was completed in 2012. All of the rooms have queen sized beds and some rooms have an additional queen, double and/or pullout sofas. More

I had to go to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville to get some tests run and was excited to learn that there is a Marriott-run property connected to the three buildings on campus via climate-controlled walkways. However, I wasn't expecting the superior level of service that I received with that convenience. Esther, who was at the front desk nearly every time... More

First of all it is over priced for what you get. My daughter and I stayed two nights and that was long enough. I think if we had to stay longer we would have moved somewhere else. The first night I hardly slept at all. The air conditioner was bulit in, but right by my bed. It was very nosiey... More

We are very sorry that our food options did not meet your needs. We do have upgraded central air conditioning with a thermostat in each suite rather than a PTAC unit and are always more than happy to help you adjust your air conditioning settings in the room to balance sound and comfort and wish we had had the opportunity... I spent a month here as a caregiver for someone awaiting, and receiving, a transplant at Mayo. Needless to say it is convenient to the hospital and clinic since there were scores of appointments and lab visits pre and post operation. At various times, a number of the guests at this hotel are patients. If you are put off by... More

My husband and I appreciate The Inn at Mayo so much. It is connected via a climate-controlled corridor to the clinic and the new Mayo hospital, which makes visits for physicals, consults, or treatments comfortable. The rooms are nice suites with functional kitchens, another practical amenity. We have had nothing but pleasant interactions with the Inn's staff, with special kudos... More

The hotel was what my wife & I were after to have a restful/relaxing day before a business event in Jacksonville. The room was large enough to hang out in, convenient to the beach and where I needed to go in the city.
