My wife and I stayed here 3 days while we visited our son and family in the Blackhawk area. The Staff were friendly, rooms were comfortable, had a fridge, micro and tv. The rates were very reasonable. We'll stay here again on our next visit! more

I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment. Although it looks like an outdated motel that is located next door to a Denny's, its staff is exceptional and it is one of the cleanest places that I have ever stayed. I was there for a funeral and the staff went ouf of its way to make my family and... more

We spend many nights in this area of CA due to elderly parents living close. We usually stay at our favorite place but heard "good" things about this hotel. This is a poor hotel. It is noisy, the pool is small, next to the freeway, and no hot-tub. When we arrived I signed a paper that said we would not... more

We spend one night in a king bed room. Very clean and nice with good service. Paid $77 and included a mediocre breakfast. But a bit above what you usually expect for a Best Western. more

Very clean hotel, nice staff, etc. Location is very close to stores and restaurants. They have a nice little breakfast area where you can grab a light breakfast without having to go out. Had another great stay at this place. more

This is definitely nicer than a typical Best Western. There are more details such as historic photos and drawings as decorations in room, crown molding, granite counter top, berber carpet, microwave and fridge in room, WiFi, excellent breakfast...it was just a perfect stay. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Facility was very very clean and very well maintained. Right off... more

Stayed here because it was close to the Blackhawk Auto Museum. Very dated facility........no elevator so If you have bags and a bad back you cannot use a cart to get the bags to your room. Internet service was down......when I called the front desk the response was: "This is not a 5 Star Hotel" Gee, no kidding Would not... more

I stayed for two nights over Memorial Day weekend at this hotel and overall was very pleased with the experience. Check in was quick and hassle free. I had an executive king room that was spacious and in a quiet corner of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping did a good job during my stay. Everything in... more

Property is clean and quiet with exceptionally friendly and competent staff. Spacious room with comfortable bed, recliner chair, nuker, fridge, and coffee maker. The picture on TripAdvisor looks a bit scary and when you map it--its close to the highway--so I was thinking it could be a seedy dump. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT the case. The hotel is of an older vintage but everything has been redone--nicely. The Lobby is cute and bright and airy. The rooms have new furnishings, are of adequate... more
