My husband stayed in the nautical room at Costello's Guest House last week while taking a class at the Omega Institute near Rhinebeck. The Guest House is only 11 miles from Omega, and it was a more reasonable and very comfortable alternative to Omega campus housing options. There is a small fridge available for guests to use in a sitting/study... More

Stayed at one of the rooms at Costello's guest house last week. The guest house is well kept - nice clean rooms and bathroom. Patsy was a wonderful host. She gave us a bit of history of the house and also of Hyde Park. Wonderful lady. Why not a 5-star? There were very minor reasons: 1) The AC wall unit... More

If you want to experience the hospitality of Hyde Park and be close to everything, stay here. It was like being at home. Our hostess was very gracious and she is an historian in her own right. A top recommendatiion!

My husband and I just returned from a two day stay at Costello's Guest House in Hyde Park, and are looking forward to going back. We stayed in the Nautical room (lovely decor!) and enjoyed the sitting room as well, with a comfortable place to read, a handy refrigerator, and a corkscrew! The price was very reasonable and it was... More

My husband and I have found Patsy's home/guest house to be very comfortable. Patsy herself is just a gem, with terrific knowledge of the Hyde Park area, and within a very short amount of time, you feel like you're staying at a family member's home. The room we have stayed in feels like "our room". The guest house is located... More

My dear friend from high school and I stayed at Costello’s Guest House to attend an Omega workshop this past October. We rented the separate bedrooms and enjoyed the common room with a refrigerator to discuss the day’s events over wine and cheese. The drive to Rhinebeck each morning was delightful, with beautiful fall foliage on rural roads. Patsy was... More

Even arriving later than planned on a chill off-season visit in late November, we were warmly received and appreciated the home-like comfort of our room. The hostess is also well informed about the remarkable history of Hyde Park and has an excellent collection of books about the Rosevelts, including several for purchase. The home is within walking distance of an excellent... Located on a quiet residential street off of busy route 9. Patsy made sure that we were comfortable - and had everything we needed. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and the home is filled with memorabilia - it had the pleasant feel of staying with my grandmother As an added bonus - Patsy's knowledge about the history of the... Patsy was a treasure trove of lore about local history and the Roosevelts. She was very welcoming and informative. I was there to do research, and she connected me with people who had actually known the woman I was researching. She really went out of her way for me. My room was small but nice. Unfortunately, the larger bedroom wasn't... More

The inn is located very close to the omega institute . It offered us an option to staying at omega , and it was very affordable. It was clean, comfortable and located 10 mins from omega. Hyde park is very historic, Pasty, the host, was very knowledgeable about all there was to see. The Culinary institute is very near by,... More
