We visited the Journey Inn this weekend, in Hyde Park NY. What a lovely place, within minutes of CIA, FDR home and across the street from the Vanderbilt Mansion. Valerie and Eric were friendly and cheerful hosts who greeted us with a tour of their great bed and breakfast. There were fabulous homemade cookies and a refrigerator with soft drinks,... More

Located right across the street from Vanderbilt estate and five minutes to FDR museum etc. our room was very clean. Valerie does some nice things with fruit for breakfasts. Common rooms are lovely and coffee, tea and sodas are always Available.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our Inn - and letting others know of our great location. Our proximity to the Roosevelts, Vanderbilts, and the CIA do make it easy for our guests to see all the sites easily. Our fruit course is popular - we do try and make fruit more exciting! We hope you enjoyed the rest... More

Our stay was memorable. We stayed in the Vanderbilt Suite, which was very comfortable, large, and allowed us to spread out. The shampoos and soaps were of very high quality. The breakfasts were truly outstanding. Valerie was a most welcoming host and ensured that we felt fully attended to. We met Eric the last morning, and he was equally gracious... More

Thank you for being such terrific guests. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate your mentioning the shampoos and soaps - we do love them too - and my personal favorites even before we became Inn owners. As you both know food well - we are so thrilled that you enjoyed our breakfasts. We don't try... More

My husband and I decided to return to Journey Inn to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. We had been there over 5 years ago before Valerie and Eric took over the B&B. They are amazing hosts who truly make you feel at-home and welcome. Valerie's recommendations for everything were spot-on from restaurants, to massages and exploring. The breakfast was yummy,... We love this place! It's directly across from the Vanderbilt Mansion, just down the road from the Culinary Institute and a few minutes from Rienbeck. The best thing aside from the wonderful breakfasts is the owner. She's friendly and always helpful-great tips for seeing the area. We go to Hyde Park primarily for the CIA. We now have stayed at... My husband and I stayed here as part of our 3rd anniversary celebration, we wanted to do a bit more than just a regular B&B getaway, we wanted to explore a few of the restaurants at the Culinary Institute of America and the Journey inn is less than ten minutes away so it was the perfect place for us to... Of course we were going to call and email you about your ring! It is always gratifying to us when we catch people while they are still close by - and even better when they are still in the driveway. My husband and I stayed here for a quick get-away in November. This inn was really centrally located to all the local sights and extremely well run and comfortable. We had a cozy suite - I believe it was called the Vanderbilt? It had a beautiful bedroom and a cozy sitting room with a desk which came in handy as... More

Thank you to Valerie and Eric for a wonderful 2 night stay this past New Year's Eve. We came to Hype Park to see the local historic attractions, and have a quiet NYE away from home. First off I had not planned on staying here. I found myself in Hyde Park and Rhinebeck looking for a place to stay on this side of the river.
