We had a great time at this B&B. We stayed in the Tree Top suite. The oversize windows (11 of them) gave us a breathtaking view of the wooded area surrounding the Inn. The room was immaculate, spacious yet cozy, and very comfortable. We were a very short and easy ride from FDR, CIA, Vanderbuilt mansion, etc. Can't say enough... more

We stayed here on a trip from Maine to West Virginia. It was half-way, the price was right, and we were ready to stay almost anywhere, except at the places recommended by a local college. We were delighted by the location, the room, the hospitality, the food, the sheer wealth of information that was shared with us. The box lunch... more

My friend and I stayed here for one night in March. As soon as we stepped into the upstairs suite, our jaws dropped at the light-filled spacious and inviting room that seemed to have no end. There are two large beds that will give you the sleep of your life, plenty of space to stow away all your things (room... more

We stayed in the tree top suite, and it was perfect for a family of five. Nice location and a great breakfast. Valarie and her husband were very nice and accomodating. We would definetly stay again if we're in the area. more

We only spent one night there, but we will be back. This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast. The location was beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and friendly. The room was very cute with the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic. We look forward to returning soon. In addition I felt it was a great value. more

We recently spent two nights at the Inn the Woods B&B. We stayed in the Treetop Suite, a large apartment-sized room occupying the entire upper floor of the B&B. Although Inn the Woods is located close to major local attractions (Roosevelt and Vanderbilt mansions, and the Culinary Institute), it is away from traffic on a pleasant heavily wooded site. Our... more

The innkeepers at Inn of the Woods care so very much about the experience they give to their guests. They attend carefully to details and are rightfully proud of what they do. The result is a very comfortable and home-like experience that deserves the highest praise. They have thought of everything and will do whatever you can imagine to make... more

We went for a weekend getaway to see the FDR and Vanderbilt mansions and the presidential library. (great attractions) I found this fabulous B & B online, and I got a 20% discount for booking six months ahead of time. We stayed in the "Treetop" suite, 500 square feet, including two full beds, a futon couch, a chair with ottoman,... more
