Came to Grants NM to visit the caves. The Red Lion Hotel offered the best price so we checked in .The hotel looks kind of old and worn outside but the inside is pleasant and clean. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the water hot. The check-in lady was very friendly and helpful. The hotel gives a discount... More

This hotel takes Corporate Lodging which makes the stay even better. The rooms were nice, big and clean as was the lobby. Beds were decent and breakfast is free at the attached steakhouse with the voucher. Not an extravagant breakfast but eggs cooked to order with hashbrowns , sausage, pancakes and set out is basic continental breakfast stuff. I'll stay... More

I feel pretty conflicted about our stay here at the Red Lion Hotel; its a story of two rooms. Our first room had one of those adjoining doors to the next room over which is great for families or big parties, but kind of creepy otherwise. Unfortunately our neighbor was loud and vulgar and the adjoining door did nothing to... More

Enormous room attentive staff and clean clean clean! We appreciated the freezer in the room. I was able to freeze water bottles overnight to add to the cooler in the morning. Made to order breakfast in the morning all at a bargain price. Couldn't ask for more!

This place is awful. The first room had broken heat, broken refrigerator, and was in a scary deserted hallway. The room we ended up in had very loud air conditioning, an incredibly slow wireless connection, and though it claims to be pet-friendly, there is no clean safe area for a pet to relieve itself outside. The restaurant opened and closed... More

Stayed here for the night to visit the Mal Pais Nat'l Monument on our way to Santa Fe. Our assigned room's heater sounded like a freight train, but a quick trip back to the front desk got us a quieter room next door. The rooms are spacious (I was able to stretch and do a morning sun salute) and the... More

Wow. We stayed here while traveling through New Mexico. The price was very reasonable, the room was clean and quiet, the staff was extra nice, and the free breakfast was outstanding! We will definitely stay here again!

Clean rooms, free hot breakfast was ok. Our waiter was old, grumpy and extremely slow. We only chose that hotel because of the pool so our 4 year old could practice swim but the pool and hot tub was closed. Would have been nice to have been informed of that before booking.

We were stuck 4 hours in bad weather on our way to California and found this hotel at 3am. The place was clean, breakfast(not continental, but a hot breakfast)was good, room was comfortable(even with a one year old baby!) And the staff were amazing. I will definitely stop again on my way home!

Don't stay here for the Wi-Fi (erratic), the food (marginal) or the swimming pool (closed). However, the hotel is reasonably attractive and the front desk staff cordial. For a bargain-priced hotel, it was about what you'd expect. Hate the pillows, though. They don't provide proper bed pillows at all! Just little square throw-pillow type things. Roll over in the middle... More

Thank you for the feed back. I am sorry that theWifi was an issue for you we do have trouble shooting information in the room as we didnt recieve any complaints. Our pillows are per Red Lion standard. Our pool is due to circumstance beyond our control. This is for the safety of our guest. I do hope you will... More
