This Holiday Inn - Battlefield was the only place we could get a last minute reservation in Gettysburg....and boy, we paid for it. WAY OVERPRICED at $149. The front desk clerk was rude upon check-in, her name was Courtney. Clearly she is in the wrong line of work...I wanted to tell her to obtain some people skills. The hotel is... More

I love this hotel! My family and I have been staying at this hotel for about 9 years off and on. We have stayed during the middle of the high season as well as the low part of the season, and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and inviting, and I have sent many of our friends... More

We stayed at this hotel July 4 & 5. It was an okay experience. Staff was not friendly. We were told check-in was at 3p.m., but room was still not ready then. The room was clean once we checked in. Only two towels were in the room. Two of the three lamps were missing lightbulbs. Had to track down housekeeping... More

Really can't beat the location. It's across the street from the charming shops on Steinwehr and walking distance from the rest of downtown and Lincoln Square. The parking lot gives you a place to stash your vehicle. By 8:30 pm, the outdoor pool was still a little cold, even though it had been a very hot day and was still... More

very sad nowadays,in the old days things were blamed on human error, nowadays everything is blamed on computer error. At checkin we were instantly charged for too many days,on checkout we were charged for miscallaneous charges which noone could explain but then was told they were removed ,but the removal couldnt be reflected on the paper bill because our computer doesnt... We found ourselves stopping at Gettysburg on the way home from a trip to Virginia in April '08, and while we've stayed in Gettysburg many times in the past, I had never stayed at this Holiday Inn before. Since we hadn't planned on staying in Gettysburg on this trip, we had no reservations but called about an hour before our... More

My husband & I visit Gettysburg about once a year, & have stayed at several different motels there. The Holiday Inn has a great location so we decided to give them a try. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean & the bathroom was spacious & the towels were great, Our biggest complaint was how noisy the stay... More

I usually write very upbeat reviews, but this won't be one of them. We just spent one night in this motel, and that was enough. I have to admit that as a Priority Club member, I am becoming spoiled. The best part about staying with points, are the goodies you usually get. Check in was a good experience. Very friendly... More
