The hotel is right in the middle of Gettysburg. There are many shops, resturants, and tourist attractions everywhere yet still very quiet. Budget Host had nice clean rooms and the workers were happy to supply us with extra ice and towels. I have stayed here twice. It is a no frills motel, but it is close to everything and clean. The price is right. We have been going down to Gettysburg every year now for the past 13 years and always stay at the Three Crowns. We find the staff very helpful, the rooms clean and it's in a great location. We will be returning in 2009. DandWOntaio more

We stayed Friday and Saturday and it was great. The location is walking distance to everything you'll need and the staff was wonderful and very helpful with all questions. The motel is older, but it was clean and comfortable. I also felt very safe. We are looking forward to staying there again. more
