A good friend, my two dogs and I spent a wonderful three days in Gettysburg not the least of which was the time spent in the Battlefield B&B. Definitely on the 'must stay here again' list for future travel through the area. Room was quiet (Graham's Artillery in the oldest part of the house), beds were sooooo comfortable, and the... More

We stayed at the Battlefield B&B for two wonderful nights. I loved the property which is situated on one of the main roads on the outskirts of town. The staff/room/service/food was excellent. They were very attentive to special dietary needs and had a plate of chocolate chip cookies for the guests. The best part of the B&B stay is their... More

I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and truly had a delightful experience. The room was comfortable (Grahams) the bathroom was a nice size. You could hear footsteps from the room above - for some this could be quite troubling. It was not an issue for us as the those in the room above us were part of our party.... More

This is a delightful bed and breakfast located directly on the Battlefield. It has historic ambiance with modern comforts. Florence is a delightful hostess and the rest of the staff are charming also. The programs are a fascinating and a unique plus that adds to the many hidden gems such as farm animals and a pond with a boat and... More

My wife and I just got back from Gettysburg, and had a wonderful time. We stayed in Grahams Artillery room at the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast, and found it to be very comfortable, clean, and a genuine 1800's atmosphere. We woke up to a fantastic breakfast, with a living historian entertaining us for over an hour. We have stayed in... More

Battlefield Bed and Breakfast is located behind and in the shadows of Big and Little Roundtop(s) yet close enough to Gettysburg town, iconic battlefields, historic monuments and buildings to easily experience all this revered and magical place has to offer.Yet, this Bed and Breakfast quietly weaves its own tapestry of serenity, history, charm and hospitality.... The rooms, especially in the original, old part of the... More

We had traveled to the B &B for my daughters wedding and ended up stranded due to the blizzard of 2009. To spite the inability of the staff to get to work, Florence single handedly made out stay incredible. When the local restaurant where we were to have the wedding dinner canceled due to the weather, Florence stepped up and... More

Stayed in General Merritt's Suite for 2 nights. The rooms were awsome in the 200 year old part of the house. Enjoyed reading by the fire as it rained the two days we were there. The grounds were beautiul and really enjoyed the 200 yo bank barn. Miss Florence and her staff were freindly and helpful and made us feel... More

We chose to stay at the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast because we were traveling with our 4-year old granddaughter and I read on their website that children were welcome. We definitely made the right choice for all of us. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Our granddaughter loved running on the large open spaces and seeing the animals. There is... More

I enjoyed the piano player so much in the morning! What a great way to start the day. All the kids staying there were very well behaved. It was the large Great Dane that was allowed into the dining room, blocking the pathway as well as slobbering on my shirt as I walked by it, was my only complaint. There's... More
