This is a charming Inn that is kid and dog friendly. The stone house dates to 1809 so there's much history to learn of and stories to hear. You can explore some of the 20 acres on mowed paths. Don't miss the lotus pond in full bloom and the gardens are lovely. Breakfast is complete with bacon or ham, omelet,... More

My sister-in-law got married here in September of 2014, so the entire family converged at Battlefield B&B staying under one roof. I realize that sounds highly dangerous, but it was actually a really great time, and memorable in a good way. Battlefield B&B perfectly balanced seclusion and privacy with lots of stuff to do. Every morning they have historical talks,... More

We stayed in Anna's Suite. Large space with the best bathroom you an imagine. It was perfect for us and our dog. Gorgeous grounds to explore and a great breakfast in the pristine countryside. The moon was large and orange and in the glow you could feel the presence of the ghosts of the battle searching for peace and solace.... More

Our party of five had two rooms on the first floor, and both rooms were wonderful. They were beautifully decorated in several antiques and very comfortable with quilts, fluffy towels, and cozy beds. The Inn owner was present and very friendly, as was all of the staff. An assortment of beverages were provided all day/night, and freshly baked cookies in... More

My husband, dog, and I stayed at the Battlefield B & B recently, and it was a perfect experience! The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful - not only to my husband and me, but also our dog. We really felt welcome. The home is beautifully furnished and our room was immaculate and cozy. We very much enjoyed... More

This wonderful bed and breakfast is accessed driving down the Emmitsburg Road past the historic battlefield. Just past the battlefield you'll see a sign on your left for the inn. I passed it on my first try, so don't feel bad if you do the same. You drive down a dirt road to an absolute treat. This is a fantastic... More

Our son and his new bride were married this past weekend at this charming Farm, and Bed and Breakfast situated adjacent to the actual battlefield. The B & B (built in the 1800's) had enough rooms to accommodate the wedding couple and both of the immediate families. While cozy and homey in every way, the house is also a veritable... More

We stayed in the General Merrit suite for one night whilst visiting the nearby Gettysburg battlefield. The B&B has a lot of history and has regular talks given by local civil war historians. The rooms were comfortable, characterful and perfectly quiet. Breakfast was tasty and delivered quickly. The B&B is perfectly located close to the battlefield and about 10 minutes... More

This was our first roadtrip with toddlers. My family traveled with kids 12,11,2 and 15 months. So believe me it was trying at times. The innkeepers are wonderful and the breakfast is fabulous. My 15 month old really enjoyed this custard with oranges in it. They leave fresh baked cookies and lemonade out daily. The house and grounds are lovely,... More

Love Love Love..Amazing stay! We stayed awhile back and cant wait to return! We instantly felt welcome our room was amazing and so comfortable and breakfast was great. Loved the history we learned and the property is great with the barn and animals. This place is nothing like any other B&B around. So much space and tucked away from it all... More
