We have camped at the Gettysburg Campground for the past 7 years and love it there. The owner Robert remembers my family each time even though a whole year has passed. We travel to Gettysburg in October and celebrate Halloween. The campground has many fun activities for children and adults. We look forward to our annual visit.

This was our second time visiting Gettysburg Campground. Both times we have stayed in Cottages, and absolutely love the experience. We took our son (7) and our neighbor (10). They had plenty to do. Must: Catch crayfish in the creek Must: Take walks on the trails behind the campsite. Must: Have at least one lunch inn the snack bar; the... More

We stayed two nights in a tent on site 19. The location was great, backs to a very shallow creek for the kids to splash in and catch crayfish. Close enough to the portable toilets for middle of the night trips. Everything was very clean, bathrooms and pool especially. Good location for families visiting Gettysburg.

My husband and I recently returned from our anniversary week vacation and stayed at this campground. We arrived after hours, but found the information on check-in waiting for us at the office. We stayed in one of the rustic cabins and found it to be modestly comfortable. It was equipped with a queen size bed, a set of bunk beds,... More

This is a very nice campground with friendly staff. We stayed during Father's Day Weekend from Friday to Monday. There were lots of fun activities on Saturday for the dads and kids to do together, the pool was clean, restrooms were clean and sites were very shady. Some spots are tighter than others and we enjoyed most of the weekend... More

Should have camped in a WalMart parking lot. First of all, the sites are crammed together like eggs in a carton. Uncontrolled dogs barking at 6:30 AM, despite complaints. It rained (not their fault), but the entry was awash with water as were the two dumping stations. The dumping stations needed to be drained, but that obviously did not occur... More

We found this park because the one in our membership was full for the weekend. This park was a welcome respite although pricey. It was quiet and comfortable and the restrooms were very well kept. I would stay here again .... just wish the cost was more reasonable.

And we have only stayed here twice.!! Great spot with roomy sights. Close to all of the sights in Gettysburg. Clean and friendly. We are truck campers, as is the owner. He is wonderful and made a point to come check on us to make sure we were settled in. Great fall camping!!! Highly recommended.

Campground is very close to the Gettysburg Battle grounds. The staff was friendly and helped us get an extra night stay at the campground even when they were booked solid. If we are ever in this area again we will not hesitate to stay there. The only thing that I would comment on that needs an upgrade would be the... More
