The hotel is located outside of Gettysburg. It is relatively new and well kept. Rooms are spacious and functional. The lighting in the room however could be better. No room safe but fridge. Shower is in the bathtub. Free parking and free wi-fi. There is no restaurant but canteen style counter with pre-cooked meals in the lobby. Also there is... More

Guests should be notified in advance that (a) there is construction happening at the hotel and (b) the usual amenities are not available. Gettysburg is always very busy. This hotel rarely allows me to use my Marriott points to book, no matter the time of year - something I am not happy about. I think the policy should be changed.... More

I was here for one night and the hotel seemed to be quite full. It appears that there is some renovation going on in the lobby area -- the dining area seemed to be blocked off with barriers, giving it an undone look. We also had a couple of issues in our room: no bedding for the pull-out sofa, and... More

Thank you for staying with us. I am very glad to hear that our staff was friendly and welcoming. I do apologize for the maintenance issues and for the unfinished state of our restaurant during your stay. Our lobby renovations are now complete and our brand new Bistro is open for business. I hope you will come back and visit... More

I enjoy Marriott properties when I travel for business, which also allows me to accumulate Marriott points and stays. The Courtyard was either newly renovated or newly built and was very nice to stay in. New paint, sheets, towels and carpets! Hurray!!!

The hotel is finishing up a remodel despite not being that old. I felt like I was in a brand new hotel! Everything was clean and fresh, the rooms were very nice...everything I expect when I stay at a Marriott property. I would definitely recommend it. There are two restaurants right out the front door, a movie theater and it's... More

This is a huge property, located a bit out of town, so it's quiet. But, the first impression is dreary, grey, not good modern and uninviting lobby. Unfortunately the bistro where breakfast is served is under construction. The very spartan continental breakfast is the only choice. At least we weren't charged for it. The room is very updated and clean... More

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear that you did not find our lobby inviting. During your stay we did still have drapes up which closed off our brand new bistro area, which is opening in just a few days. I do understand that this "partially completed"... More

This is a beautiful hotel, very clean and inviting. Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Although their Bistro had not yet opened, they made us aware of a couple of restaurants within the area.

stayed here the night before the Gettysburg North South Maraton. check in was okay but my key didn't work and the front desk clerk didn't remember me even though it only took me 5 minutes to get up to my room, try the key, and come back. The lobby was under major renovation and was extremely sparse. The room had... More

I stayed one night at this location as I was in town for the Gettysburg Marthon. The Courtyard by Marriott is my favorite chain and I have stayed at dozens of simular properties. This may be the best CBM I have ever visited. The staff was great, and were eager to please; the location was excellent. There was some construction,... More

Newly remodeled king room was excellent. Nice place to sit, very comfortable bed and huge well appointed bathroom. Very nice to be able to open windows. Front desk staff was ok, I didn't really interact much with them. Main flr renovations will be very nice when complete. Location is great to downtown, historic attractions and the college. Free breakfast was... More
