We stayed for one night in this unique, clean hotel. The room was spacious and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. We walked 10 minutes to find a restaurant for dinner. We visited Gettysburg College which was only .5 miles away.

Stayed here for one night while touring the Battlefield. This hotel was formerly a school so the rooms are former classrooms so it's unique in that the rooms are large. I thought it was a neat idea and good recycling of a historic building. This hotel isn't in the center of town but you could walk most places if you... More

The hotel building is a restored school. The rooms were clean, updated, comfortable, and spacious. The hallways are beautifully decorated. The only downside is there are no elevators which can be pain when you have luggage to haul up stairs. It's only a few blocks from the town square and convenient to all attractions.

The Federal Pointe Inn is a terrific place to stay for anyone, but especially those who love restored buildings. The Inn was once a school and its conversion to a hotel maintained many of the original features of the building. The rooms are huge and well appointed, the staff friendly and helpful and the location is just a short walk... More

We arrived just at dusk to find an amazing building begin to glow in the sunset. It was just as lovely on the inside. The rooms were very spacious and well decorated, the bed was quite comfy and the bath area just perfect. (If only they had nice plush robes!!!). The staff was very kind and helpful. An all around... Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms less than 1/4 mile from the center of town...a nice 5 minute stroll. This is not a full service hotel in that they do not provide breakfast and only have a small pub but there are so many local options that that's not an issu. They do have a small workout room and parking is... More

If you love the history of Gettysburg and luxury accommodations, this is the place for you! The hotel is GORGEOUS. The staff treats you like family (the kind of family members they actually like). The rooms are enormous and the bed is almost too comfortable. I have insomnia and slept the hardest I've slept in years. When I first saw... More

A few friends and I were in town for a wedding and we booked a night at the Federal Pointe because of the affordable price. When we arrived, we were astounded by the quality of the rooms and the amazing hospitality. Our favorite part was the quaint pub on the lower floor that served Crabcake Factory crabcakes. The bartender (Robin)... More

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We booked reservations a little over a month ago based on TripAdvisor reviews and they were not wrong - this was the best place we've stayed in Gettysburg by far! The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating - and were quick to answer and alleviate my concerns about the afternoon tea and scones and... More

Had a great anniversary weekend at the Federal Pointe Inn. The owners and employees were very hospitable and friendly and the accommodations were most excellent. The transformation from schoolhouse to boutique hotel is truly amazing and more inviting than you can imagine. A small gathering space with a bar in the basement topped it all off as our late night... More
