Stayed at hotel because it was close to all of the activities for the yearly greyhound gathering. The first thing I noticed when my wife and I entered the building was the musty odor (which probably explains the respiratory infection I now have). Once we got to our room my key wouldn't work (heard several complaints from other guests with... More

It is a large hotel that is a convention center, but they don't seem to know how to prepare for conventions or banquets. Food items at the banquet buffet were constantly empty, and it took a while for them to be refilled causing dozens to stand waiting with half filled plates. The ice cream dessert was put out when the... More

At check in, I waited a good 5+ minutes while the clerk had a personal conversion. As this happened, the line built behind me. They tried to charge me a higher rate even though I was part of a room block and confirmed the rate over the phone. The room was really gross with stains on the walls and carpets.... More

I was just here this past week for the recent dog show with my 3 babies and have stayed here the past 2 years during the show. The Hotel it self has not changed the rooms are so outdated and just look like something out of the 1960"s. The beds and furniture are very old stained and broken and there... More

Our school group arrived at 9:30 at night and so the first thing I saw was an old marble floor with a 5 star insignia. I thought wow, this is a really old place. Not really, I found out the next morning that the original part of the hotel was built in the mid 70's but where we stayed was... More

Pluses:The check in clerk was very nice and the waiters were very friendly. The conference room was spacious. Minuses: There were 144 of us from our church and only one check in clerk. Thank goodness we did not all arrive at the same time! The hotel is old and really needs updating. The rooms smell old; the toilet seat in... More

I stayed here for 2 nights while chaperoning a group. The rooms to which were assigned were run down, dirty; the ceiling has stains from water leakage and the furniture was very old. The walk to the rooms is very tedious; you must walk quite a distance or in a semi circle around the inner structures to get to your... More

We arrived late Friday afternoon and it was cold outside and inside. You had to leave on your coats because it was cold inside the hotel and the rooms. The ballroom where we was eating was freezing. The carpet in the rooms was filthy. Stains on the walls. Stains on the lamps and shade melted at the stained spot. The... More

My family had recently stayed at this hotel and it made for a lovely vacation. Two king size beds and a very spacious room for our family. The fridge and microwave were a nice extra amenity. The hotel staff were very helpful and full of knowledge for Gettysburg. Only a few minutes from the battlefield which was convenient but also... More
