Our first B & B experience. It was everything I expected and more. I cannot wait to return in the Summer. Beautifully decorated rooms, complete peace, luxury and quiet. Cannot say enough about the wonderful home made breakfasts each morning, which we had in our room. My husband and I were in need a complete restful vacation. I left feeling... More

The Inn at White Oak is located about 10 -15 minutes outside of Gettysburg - close to restaurants & attractions, yet far removed from the "touristy hubbub". Owners Shiree & Craig are so friendly, within a half an hour, they felt like old friends or even family. They certainly made us feel welcomed. Clearly, they pay close attention to 'details':... Although we only live 45 minutes from this previously unknown treasure, we would drive hundreds of miles to come back again after a relaxing and accommodating birthday weekend at The Inn at White Oak. My wife surprised me with a short getaway vacation, and from the moment we entered the inn, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Craig and... More

My wife and I stayed at the White Oak for our 25th anniversary in November and truly couldn't be happier. The rooms are lovely and plush. Romance abounded. The breakfasts were delicious. The grounds were beautiful. They even have a HEATED indoor pool which we had all to ourselves one afternoon. Shiree and Craig were delightful hosts. They made us... More

We are at this lovely Inn staying in The General's Quarters. The Inn itself is far off the road in a bucolic woodsy area. With multiple windows overlooking snow covered ponds, fields, forest and white tailed deer which parade by I would have to say that we are experiencing a true winter wonderland and virtual viewing feast. The room is... More

The Inn has recently undergone an ownership change. The new owners are very gracious and accommodating. They truly seemed to want our group to enjoy our stay. However, if you are looking for an upscale experience this is not the property for you. The rooms in the main house are very outdated and the bed linens old. The carriage house... More

I wish we could write a review stating how wonderful this B&B was but unfortunately for us when we arrived we were told our reservation had been canceled. We had booked this inn for our 40th wedding anniversary trip. After a busy week of sightseeing in Wash DC we were looking forward to a quiet weekend in Gettysburg before making... More

We are sorry this happened to you and offered you some options, which sadly, you declined. Just to clarify, the issue/glitz we had in our system was corrected and never affected any of our guests or you in any way. In your case, the reservation was cancelled. We found no error on our part, but were willing to accommodate you,... More

This Inn is secreted away within beautiful trees, ponds, birds nests and flowers. I spent two peaceful days here this week on the occasion of my birthday but in search of peace and quiet, and some pampering and found it all and then some. The innkeepers, Shiree and her wonderful family greeted us and could not have been more welcoming... More

After 15 days of traveling, my wife and I needed a place that was quiet and romantic... The Inn at White Oak met both those expectations!!! The staff at the Inn was friendly, respectful and catered to all our needs... When the staff found out that we were on our honeymoon, they went above and beyond to make our stay... More

Just three miles outside Gettysburg, this gem of a B&B overlooks a pond and the rolling hills leading toward the battlefield. Perfect spot for launching a battlefield tour, and enough out of town as to be blessedly, blessedly quiet (G-burg is on a truck route & thus is shockingly noisy!, which is why I'd suggest not booking in G-burg itself,...
