We've been coming to this Super 8 for years. It's what you might call our go-to place, or our must motel. It's a great place to come back to after a day of battlefield tramping. We're a big fan of the pool/hot tub duo. It's certanly a fine establishment. The owners are indeed quality people! It was a great stay... more

We are on the second night of a three night stay at the Super 8 Gettysburg. We tried to book the Days Inn where our grown son stayed on his first visit here but could not get three nights there. We came with our son on his second trip to Gettysburg and he liked this location. Check in was easy,... more

My husband, his uncle, and my son planned a trip to Gettysburg. His uncle backed out days before the trip. I called to change the reservation from a Friday and Saturday night to a Sunday and Monday so it would be more affordable. The woman I spoke with told me that it was "all set". Weeks later my American Express... more

We were a bit hesitant to stay here, but the price was right. We were pleasantly surprised to find friendly, helpful staff and a nice, large room. Decorations are sparse, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Our room was quiet. Breakfast was what other posters have said - very simple, offering only muffins, danishes, 2 kinds... more

This Super 8 was built in 2000 and is a non-smoking property. Our room was surprising large as was the bathroom. Reception was friendly and the location was good. It was a pleasure to spend the night in a fresh room with sheets that fit the bed. more

The previous occupant of my room had left me some gifts, which the maid apparently decided not to remove. The room had no refrigerator and no iron/ironing board. The ice bucket was smaller than the ashtray and the only ice machine is in the first floor lobby. Not much value for $100. more

This was my first experience staying at a Super 8, but I was pleasantly surprised. With the cheap rates, especially for that area, I was expecting a dive, however it was pretty nice. Here's the drawback. I originally planned to stay two days for skiing and shopping etc, however I changed my reservation to one day because the indoor was... more

Our stay here was from October 8-10, 2006. It was Columbus weekend and we had no problems with the cleanliness of our room, the staff or management, the pool area or the continential breakfast that they provided. I am not sure what some of the other people who posted on here were expecting from this hotel but it was fine... more

If you want to sleep, do not stay in room 110. The entrance to the pool is right beside this room, and the 'Pool Equipment' is across the hallway. Around 215am we heard a humming noise that would get louder at times. I kept hoping it would just go away, but it would get louder again. After realizing this endless... more

Good price. First room we were put in was on the first floor, not far from the front desk, had only one window that was right on the indoor pool - not "overlooking" the pool like they said. Not private for us and weird!! We were moved to another room on the 2nd floor which was better. Breakfast was not... more
